   I have just started using Fitfood for my keto meals. The food is exceptional. I wasn’t sure what to expect but I am super stoked. My favourite has been the chicken with the cauliflower mac n cheese. I also loved the fish pie.

   Did my research on keto meal delivery services - went with Fitfood as it’s true keto with macros % closest to how a real keto meal should be - all my meals so far are >20g carbs and the fats & proteins are within range. Other providers advertise “keto” but it’s more paleo in reality or just lump keto with low-carb options. Excellent quality - flavours are good, the weekly rotating options don’t get boring, and ingredients are fresh. I’ve had fish, chicken, beef, pork so far. No preservatives or additives/fillers. I like to freeze as soon as my delivery arrives and just pop one in fridge ready to heat for my next meal. Portion sizes can be chosen & each meal has listed nutritional info on website. This week’s meals sorted! Highly recommend.

   Love having an easy, convenient vegetarian meal option. So far have enjoyed the Kumara lentil curry, the sriracha spiced noodles and the pumpkin risotto. I have been adding an additional protein to some of the meals like the noodles and risotto, but even then it cuts my meal prep time down 75%. Perfect weekday dinner with enough flavour that if I’m craving takeout after work, it fills that hole at least mostly.

   Sometimes I get sick of my own cooking and of cooking in general and with our busy lives we started looking for a healthy meal service. This 100% fits the bill. We love these meals. They are healthy AND tasty. I think they are well priced for gourmet low carb food. This is even better food than when we do our own meal prep. We have tried other companies and they pale in comparison to Fitfood.

   I've been ordering the subscription of 6 single meals for my mum who lives alone and has health issues. They have been easy for her and good to know that she is actually eating properly with these. Very convenient and she is extremely happy with her weekly subscriptions. We tried other companies previously and she wasn't very happy with her meals.

   Tried some of these meals this week. As far as the food goes, fairly bland and forgettable compared to other options available - primal kitchen for example. More disappointing was that my wife and I both ordered the chicken katsu, both the same large size, and one came with half the chicken in the other; 3 pieces vs 6 - and was also missing the coriander and sesame seeds present in the full meal. She emailed the company, and was told they’d pass on the feedback to the kitchen. No apology, future discount or anything. Whenever we’ve had missing items or subpar food with my food bag, hello fresh, Woop etc etc, they’ve all been incredibly quick to rectify the situation well. No such service here. Between average meals and sub par service, we wont be ordering again.

   I agree with the guy below when he says that there are some unfair reviews on here. The food is tasty, really nice it's packaged well in a sturdy box you'd have to run over it in car to have it spilling out?? The price is affordable for anyone and they have a large menu. Its good food too not MacDonalds! Tonight I had cauliflower & (bow tie) pasta and it was superb and the flavour made me think that they know how to cook! Just that perfect amount (hint) of fennel. I'm in the Capital, they are in South Island, I buy frozen 6 packs and work late nothing wrong with the food in fact it's a 10/10 all round from me. Top show.

   Quite possibly the worst company we have ever dealt with in New Zealand. We were repeat customers until last week when we ordered a large food order. The food arrived damaged (dropped) unsealed and not chilled as a result. We took photos and advised the company immediately only to be told that they had tested their packaging and they would not provide a full refund. It’s become clear from other customer reviews that the company is receiving multiple complaints about food arriving in an un-chilled state so one would realistically think that they would respond appropriately to customers who experience this same issue by either replacing the food or refunding as a minimum. WARNING: Save yourself the hassle and the risk as in our experience this company is short sighted and do not stand by their product/ service when food arrives in a unsatisfactory manner. Life’s too short to deal with a company so arrogant to not care about customer satisfaction and there are plenty of other companies in NZ that stand by their products!!

   They were great to start with, the mozzarella and beef pie was the best ! Now you get half the size single pie for the same price as the bigger one was. Making some meals smaller for the same price is not cool, they hardly feed a bird and the pie recipe doesn't seem the same. Going elsewhere where now, such a shame.
