   Worst manager to deal with at a property i have ever come across, i used to own a motel so i was talking through how i can make her get more money from the booking and how it can benefit us both in the kindest way possible where she would continually interupt me until i said excuse me, may i please finish talking and can you stop interupting me.. she then hung up on me. Lol beyond a joke i hope the owners listen to this and take action as staff like her cost 1000s and then 100,000 after a years damage...

   I was completely satisfied with my stay. The hospitality was outstanding, and the staff were exceptionally friendly and accommodating. The room was spotless, and the bed and pillows were incredibly comfortable. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to my friends and family.

   This was a last minute resort for a night . I brought the Deluxe suite with a spa which cost $174 but i was charged $180 . Also needed to give $200 bond (which i got back thankfully) . The room and space its self was gorgeous ! but over charging me more than the stated price is unacceptable and for that im rating it low .

   This must be one of the cleanest motels we've ever been to. The bed is very comfortable, the heatpump is fast and efficient, and the shower is awesome. Almost 5 stars. Here are our suggestions for a few things to improve: 1. Hooks in wardrobe and bathroom to hang clothes. 2. A rack for the wet hand towel and a second rack for the second bathtowel, otherwise they won't dry in time for the next shower. 3. The room is for 2 people, so a nightstand on each side of the bed would be good. 4. Two decent sized mugs, not just two tiny cups without saucers. 5. Suitcase rack or just a bench along the wall would be a touch of luxury. Thank you so much.

   I stayed for one night while visiting a sick friend. The office was locked when I arrived despite giving my arrival time. After phoning someone arrived 10 minutes later. The room was ok with a good heat pump. There were only 2 teabags and 2 coffee bags. I thought this was a bit mean and 2 small containers of milk enough for one cup. No tea towel to dry dishes. In the morning I had to boil the kettle for a wash as there was no hot water. I ran the shower for 10 minutes to allow it to warm up but it was cold. When I went to check out the office was again locked. This is not a 4 star motel. I would not go back again nor recommend it to anyone else.

   They say online that housekeeping is done daily it isn't they also say that it's child friendly and that Amenities include, BBQ facilities and a kids' play area but there is none of that so not really child friendly at all. On the sign it says they have sky they don't. On public holidays housekeeping isn't done at all until the next scheduled housekeeping day so you have to put up with your rubbish and and dirty towels until then.

   I very much enjoyed my stay here at Barclay Motel. My children and I stayed here for approximately 2months. There were little complaints in which the owner and all of her staff really showed the highest priority to ensuring guests were comfortable and that needs were being met. My room was nice and clean and modern, there is also a play area for the children to play. It's a really great place, great pool great staff and a great location here in Hamilton. Thankyou for the enjoyable stay.

   This is not a 4 star hotel. Most rooms are let to semi permanent occupants. Furniture was dirty and the floor sticky. Prices are inflated for events. The reception staff did try to assist by reassuring us that he would keep us safe when there were disputes in aneighbouring room.

   Okay. Booked specifically for the solar heated pool dressed my daughter for a swim to find pool freezing..Was told to wait 3 hours for the spa pool when we walked in my 10 month old was coughing and my eyes and nostrils were burning from the chlorine. He said we could still swim? My daughter has respiratory problems could not get her out fast enough pretty disappointed.. Not offered anything in the way of compensation 2 stars as rooms were very clean and comfortable.
