   Tired and deserted! We saw 1 other family and a single traveller, which with the musky smells, felt very weird! The hotel is huge but very tired, patched carpets that look as if they just bought the cheapest patches possible, and not even in the same or remotely similiar pattern The staff are great, the food was ok, but we are glad that we only had 1 night here, otherwise we may well have looked to move to another hotel

   We were happy to find this hotel as a stop over for a night. Fantastic & warm hospitality, lovely bedding & sleep with an awesome - yummy as breakfast. Ngā mihi Distinction Hotel Hamilton. We will definitely come and stay again.

   It's a little dated but the rooms are quiet, the bed is comfy, and the breakfast is extensive so I can't really complain. Our biggest frustration is that the carpet is too high, so opening the door to our room is very difficult because the door needs to be forced in against the carpet. Also, the room keys have the name of the hotel and the room number on them which isn't best practice for security. Don't lose your key.

   The hotel is aged and needs an upgrade. We stayed in a standard room and upon walking in, the air was musty and damp. It just smelt so bad. The fan in the bathroom did nothing for the condensation. The under sheet was a stained brown colour. The machines in the gym don’t work properly. The buffet breakfast and dinner are good. The wait staff are lovely and friendly. I probably could have found a cleaner motel for the same price.

   Went to Hamilton for the weekend, was recommended this hotel to stay at... made the reservation, by a friendly staff member, place was easy to get to via Google maps, friendly staff upon checkin, got a lovely accessible room... had the best nights sleep, had a lovely breakfast at the restaurant, and good value for money... I have to say I'll come back again and recommend this hotel to family and friends

   This is an older place but in good condition and well maintained. Included a cooked breakfast. The stand out was they heated my wife's pumpkin soup that I brought with me. It is pretty difficult finding food I can eat so really impressed with this service.

   Some attention to shower glass needed and door to room very heavy. Otherwise apart from little things the room suited us well. Very comfortable beds and good shower pressure. Lovely reception on arrival and departure. Would stay again for a night. Nice quiet location.

   The rooms were clean tidy, the corridors and entrances to each wing were old and tired. The exterior was tidy but looking a bit old. We enjoyed a hot breakfast each day in the main complex. The staff were friendly and polite. I would happily stay here again.
