   If you want to go really blonde and actually get the results you asked for — book with Vanessa! She always brings my vision to life and nails exactly what I want every time. On top of that, she’s so considerate and genuinely lovely to spend time with — the hours in the chair just fly by. Couldn’t recommend her more highly!

   I had my first appointment at Epsilon today with Jennie :) my whole experience was incredible from start to finish, not only did Jennie give the most amazing head massage of my life, she educated me took the time and effort with all the questions I had & made me feel so comfortable. And i am so in love with my hair! Thank you & the team, I cannot wait to visit again soon

   I’ve been here three times and won’t be returning as they’ve treated me with a lack of kindness many times. It’s not the employees, it’s the management. This place is unfortunately only concerned with making money and is incredibly pretentious. They also work their employees to the bone- I’ve heard horror stories and feel bad for how they’re treated. They’re not very welcoming and it was always really uncomfortable to get my hair done here- I prefer somewhere more down to earth and found that at Dime Friday in Papamoa thankfully. EDIT to update: The businesses reply below is unrelated to why I have not been happy with Epsilon, as none of that has been mentioned above, so I'm putting my review down to one star. And I could go deeper into that, but did not want to slam this business publicly nor get any of their employees in trouble. As you can see by their reply, they did not professionally address any of my issues above and instead replied with personal information with a whole heap of excuses. You can see they don't value people's opinions or care for their comfort by how they've responded. As a business owner I would be deeply concerned if someone had been to my salon three times and felt uncomfortable every time, but as you can see it's all about their reputation. They've made that clear in their reply. As for the colour, I've had another salon do a perfect job of it, as they are much more skilled. Any decent hairstylist trained in colour correction could have done this.

   Shocking service. If you're unhappy with your hair Libby and her staff, become very nasty (think schoolyard bullies). I ordered hair extensions, and on advice from the team, they ordered blonde extensions and said they would colour them brunette to match my natural hair colour. They didn't order brunette extensions as I had blonde foils, and they told me they could dye the extensions darker, leaving some blonde out to match the blonde foils in my natural hair. They cannot lighten extensions but can darken extensions (apparently, but not when you look at the photos of my extensions after they were ruined attempting to get them darker multiple times that day). My appointment was meant to take no longer than 3hrs. After 5.5 hours in the salon while the team attempted to darken my extensions this was the result! No blending and frankly shocking. How can you let someone walk out of your salon with hair like this? When I got home and realised how bad my hair was I asked for the extensions to be removed & to be refunded, Long story short the team did not want to refund the colour work (which was only done to match the extensions. It didn't match) No acknowledgment that it took my entire day and that I would have to take another morning off of work & go back in to have them removed (I live an hour away from the salon). Libby said if I want a refund they would cancel my future bookings (Christmas). This isn't the first sub-par colour from Epsilon. Do not waste your time or money at Epsilon.

   I loooove my cut. I've been to three different stylists here (because Im disorganized) and all have given fantastic cuts PLUS really good advice on what to do, or not to do, with the cut and style. Trustworthy, professional, experienced team of stylists there. Highly recommend their services.

   I booked a last minute appointment as my hair had gone a horrible orange after lightning it. I had Annaliese and she was amazing! She spent so much time and effort making my hair look perfect and I left extremely happy with it. Highly recommend!! Super friendly stylists.

   I’m so pleased with my experience with Jennie at Epsilon. I came in with blocky blonde and she magically transformed it into a million-dollar balayage. I have been dying my hair for a good 20 years and this has been my very best experience. It’s exactly what I wanted and I’ve already booked to come in again. Thank you so much Jennie for giving me back my confidence by looking so good!
