   THIS PLACE AND DAKOTA LITERALLY SAVED MY LIFE AND HAIR. Dakota is, without a single doubt, the absolute best stylist to ever touch my head. Her abilities in the salon to reference is better than the name of the mascara from too faced cosmetics. (if you know the name, you know.) I would follow her into another salon, into another state, or onto another continent. If she ever retires, I’m just shaving it all off, that’s how good she is. Her vibe is perfect, her conversation is top tier, she always knows how to bring the mood up and make you laugh and her hospitality makes you feel like royalty. But the real magic? The stunning, flawless, perfect work. She knew exactly what I wanted and executed it effortlessly. Not a single mistake. Ever. Forget ramen noodle hair disasters she will leave your hair flawless. Dakota’s consultations are thorough, her process is guided, and she aims for and achieves perfection. She will make you and your hair feel gorgeous and make you look gorgeous. A bonus is the head massages are the best I’ve ever had in my life. Dakota if you read this, I LOVE YOU AND YOU ARE THE BEST HAIR STYLIST EVER!!! ALSO SHE DOES THE BEST HAIR EXTENSIONS!!! She is an absolute gem. I recommend her at 1000%.

   I was very nervous about going to a new salon but Audrey was amazing. She was very professional and did everything she could to make me feel comfortable with the whole process. She gave me guidance about what she thought would work but wasn't pushy in any way. I am very happy with the finished result and am looking forward to working with her again in the future.

   I had the pleasure of getting my hair done by Dakota and the whole experience was amazing, from the moment I walked in the door she made me feel comfortable. She listened to my concerns about my hair, gave me some amazing tips and recommendations and even let me know my hair wasn’t as damaged as I thought it was! All in all, a great experience and a great cut. I will be back :-)

   Dakota at Vivo Te Rapa is absolutely Amazing, she puts in a huge amount of work at an incredibly high standard. She has amazing customer service and is always making me feel comfortable. she always accomodate me and my busy scheduel so I'm never left with terrible hair. she's made my road to using extension so smooth and easy and is just fantastic. Dakota is a huge asset to Vivo.

   Called several salons of the same chain who advertised the same foil and cut deal. None had any openings on that day. Very fishy ... Obviously they limit the amount of special deals that they will book on one particular day (or are just saying they are fully booked). Not ONE space the whole day on a late night Thursday with any of them. Would not recommend because if dubious advertising.

   Prices are random and not clear, not keen to get a cut if they can't give a set price, to give very wide range seams wrong to me. I will find less chain based place to get my haircut from.

   I’ve been visiting Dakota as my stylist for nearly a decade and in that time she hasn’t missed a beat. My hair is stubborn to lift but I always feel safe in Dakotas knowledgeable hands. Great conversation, the friendliest and most talented in the game. Manages to blend my 3 month old regrowth without breaking a sweat.

   Amazing atmosphere. Amazing customer service. I had the pleasure of having Dakota as my stylist over the last year. She provides phenomenal cuts/colour/hair extensions. Absolutely recommend she gives fantastic, practical advice and education on how to care for your hair. She goes above and beyond to be accommodating. She is professional and courteous. Her hair extension installation and colour matching are on point! Best hair stylist ever!!!
