I ordered chili chicken and garlic naan, but both were disappointing. The chili chicken was too oily and lacked flavor, with the chicken being chewy instead of tender. The garlic naan was dry and didnβt taste fresh, with very little garlic aroma. Overall, the meal was not enjoyable and did not meet my expectations.
Amazing cuisine with a wonderful variety of flavours and beautifully balanced combinations. It was our first experience with Indian food, and we were pleasantly surprised by how rich and delicious everything was. We tried the chefβs signature lamb masala β incredibly tender and served in a fragrant, full-bodied sauce. Simply outstanding. The staff was attentive, friendly, and the service was top-notch. The dishes are not overly spicy, but if you enjoy a bit of heat, you can always ask for it. Highly recommended!

Went here for dinner for my birthday with my family. First time having traditional Indian cuisine and I was not disappointed at all. Had the most amazing goat korma that I would love to have again. Very friendly staff that recommended another dish for me to try next time we done out. Meals were very fast to come out which was pleasant so we could enjoy our meals together as a family then head home to relax and rest before work tomorrow.
Ordered an early dinner from these guys while in Waihi for business on a Sunday evening. I grabbed a Kadai Paneer and some poppadoms. The Kadai was so flavourful, decent serving size, and had plenty of paneer in it. The gravy was thick, super tasty full of veges, herbs and spices. I really enjoyed it! Would recommend, Iβll definitely be back to try some more of their yum .
I visited Crazy Tandoor the other night for Dinner. Must say, I was impressed they were open on a Monday night given it is very quiet around this time of the year. Curry was a just a little too salty but the Garlic Naan had to be the best I've tried in a while. Great dinner option and affordable too!
Stumbled across this gem during a weekend stay at Waihi Beach. Amazing food and very friendly service from our waiter. I had the classic butter chicken & garlic naan comboβ¦. delicious! The curry was not overly sweet, with a tasty tomato flavour. The naan was the perfect mix of fluffy and crunchy. My partner had the chicken korma and Kashmiri naan which he really enjoyed. Weβll definitely be back here!
We ordered a butter chicken & a garlic and cheese naan. Best naan bread Iβve eaten in a long time! Was fresh, hot & lots of cheese and garlic. We were on holiday from Auckland so weβre use to the sweet tasting butter chicken but this one had a really nice depth of flavour with lots of chicken too. The guy that served us was really nice and friendly as well. Highly recommend :)
