   We booked in advance for a birthday dinner, my partner really wanted to have the steak meal as he'd had it before and it was delicious. We ordered the steak, the waitress took our order, then came back and said they have run out of steak, then half way through our meal we saw they brought out 8 steaks to the table next door. A bit disappointed as even if this table had pre-ordered we had also pre-booked, the restaurant wasn't very busy as it was a Monday at 6pm. The pork belly however was delicious. The waitresses didn't ask us if we wanted more drinks when we had empty glasses on our table and they were popping by to check on our food, or deliver food to us, set the table next to us, and deliver food and drinks to the table next to us - we had to ask, then had to ask for the drink to be served on ice as it was the first time. We did have the chocolate brownie for dessert and that was delicious!

   Had our work Christmas function here but have been a few times before as well. Well looked after and good food. Staff were amazing and the meals huge! Love the garden bar and all the different areas for seating. We booked the function room this time. Highly recommend.

   Very helpful, skilled and friendly staff. Delicious cocktails. Awesome coffee. Fresh, tasty good portions pizza, tacos, fettuccine, & Cobb salad. We went on Sunday afternoon and it our order was ready rather quickly. Nice atmosphere, kid friendly too. Will definitely return.

   What a wonderful experience. Great food, staff, atmosphere, food & drinks variety... Most highly recommended by me... and it usually takes a fair bit to impress me. 6/5 stars! 2nd time there and they continue to impress. { This was during busy time of NZ Darts Masters}, I even stuck my head in the skullery and thanked the washing up team.    Can't thank The Roaming Giant enough! I hosted my son's 21st in the weekend in the garden bar and I was absolutely so impressed with the staff and especially the lovely Caitlyn! She catered to all our needs and went above and beyond! The meals came out fast, so well presented and delicious ) The feedback from everyone was amazing! You guys went out of your way to cater and sort out everything for us, the night was a hit and couldn't have gone any better, Thank you very much again for hosting us and would highly recommend to all! Outstanding! Thanks so much again to all the staff and especially our waitress Caitlyn.

   Great place to socialize in a group and enjoy a range of delicious dishes. Food and service is fantastic, nice atmosphere with industrial chique. Depending on where you sit it can be a bit loud.
