   Arrived for lunch, very hot day no fans, or air conditioning. Ordered seafood chowder my favorite. Very disappointed, couldn't find fish, only a couple of prawns and very small mussels there was a lot of corn in it, so was like corn soup with prawns & mussels. They served my soup first, but was cold by the time my partners food came out. Orry to say i won't be re visiting any time soon.

   Rather a disappointment to be frank. The food was mediocre. I was told the fish was gurnard when I ordered but turned out to be snapper after being served. Nothing special about the whole dish, in fact I have eaten much better fish 'n chips in almost every pub around NZ. My partner had the mushroom risotto which was tasteless. The red wine was served in a small glass, the white in a larger. Clearly the wrong way around. Worse, the glasses were plain grubby and that for $18 per glass, thank you very much! Lipstick on the water glasses. The ladies serving us where friendly enough but, hey, at the end of day we expect good food for those prices.

   My husband and I just had dinner here for our anniversary. I can honestly say it was one of the best meals I have ever had. The chef outdid himself! The calamari was as tender as warm butter and the chicken parfait was dreamy. The staff were so lovely and friendly. I fully recommend this restaurant to anyone who wants amazing food in a warm friendly environment. Can't wait to come back soon!

   We went here for my hens party dinner and had the best time! Amazing service, delicious food as part of a generous set menu, fab cocktails, and fun, friendly atmosphere. The staff were just lovely and all 16 of us girls had a wonderful night. Can't wait to come back!

   Great food. I had mussels as a main. Good presentation and subtle flavours. My dessert was grilled Mango, with sorbet and lime foam. A simple dessert but it was ample. I felt satisfied, not uncomfortably stuffed. It was a nice light meal.

   Great food. There wasn't a kids menu but our six year old happily demolished the adult salmon. None surroundings though it was a bit cold outside that evening. The chowder was perhaps a bit gloopy and uninspired, but the fish and chips and the crufo were great.
