Food was amazing, servers were so friendly and helpful. The restaurant itself was awesome, a really comfortable outside area. Highly recommend for group bookings, food was just falling off the bone 10/10 everything was superb!
Quite a big place, with a lovely art gallery in the entrance. There was the inside seating area which could comfortably fit large groups. Sunny day so we sat outside. This area caters for dog walkers, with a seperate entrance if you have a dog. This area could be amazing if only it was looked after. There is a roof over part of it, which is great if the sun is too hot, then there is seating out in the sunshine. Problem is that it needs a lot of attention from a gardener or landscaper. It has sad looking plants that are overrun by weeds, and more weeds growing between the paving. There is an outdoor fireplace which by the looks of it, isn't working. Just a lot of weeding, tidying up and sweeping would make a big improvement. We will go back because the food and staff were good but I'd love to not be distracted from my meal by ugly weeds.
I would have loved to have given a better review! however unfortunately there were huge wait times between meals being served. Some of our group had finished their meals up to an hour before others were served, and our entrees came at the same time, or in some instances, after, our mains. Our meals were tasty, however there was a lack of seasoning on the salads (no seasoning at all, especially noticeable on the Thai beef salad). It was cold inside with only two small heaters working. Sorry team! Note: a great place for kids though - toys, space, and good outside space if visiting during the day!
We were 110% satisfied with our dinner and dessert tonight at The Black Sheep. It was so awesome, the portion sizes we're huge. All the food and drinks were absolutely delicious. The meals were brought out really fast. I highly recommend for a great family restaurant. We will definitely be going back.
