   Very unprofessional We booked the place for my son's birthday 3 weeks prior, everything was fine. We came back on the 10th of September to finalise the menu and pay for down of $200 to formalise the booking. With that 2 days of meeting with them, everything was fine. Then we received a call from them on the 23rd of September at 15:55(2 days prior the event) informing us that they will not be able to cater us as they have an inspection on that day from tauranga council. We were devastated as it was a very late notice, as we already sent invitations to our guests and to our photographer and decorator. We were supposed to enjoy that day but it was ruined as we had to quickly look for another venue that could cater us. We also had to make calls to inform our guests about the change. Then they posted a live on their fb account about a different party on the same day of our cancelled booking. We asked him for proof of the notice of inspection from the council and the conversation between them as he said he tried to ask the "council" to move the inspection date but he could't provide us any proof of that. We felt that he is very dishonest with us and it's heartbreaking as we don't know why he would do that to us. I don't recommend this restaurant to anyone, if he is this kind of dishonest person, we don't know what more dishonesty he does behind the kitchen.

   0/5 Stars from my side. We booked this restaurant 3 weeks in advance with an advance payment for my nephew’s 1st birthday, a milestone we were so excited to celebrate. We paid upfront, trusting them to make it special. But the owner called with a flimsy excuse about an “inspection,” forcing us to cancel and shattering our plans. Heartbroken, I visited on the party day and saw another event in our slot. Manager K. Kaur admitted they’d booked it a month ago. The betrayal and dishonesty left us devastated. Don’t trust this place with your special moments! I would never ever recommend this place because they don’t care about customer’s time and money, stressful they are…..

   *1/5 Stars - Extremely Disappointing Experience* i dont have option to rate less than 1 otherwise i would give 0 rating We are very unhappy with Castle91 Restaurant and want to warn others about their unprofessional behavior. We booked this restaurant for my nephew's birthday party. We sent out invitation cards, decorated the place, and even hired a photographer. But just 2 days before the party, they called us and said sorry, they can't host our party because they have an inspection on that day. This was very disappointing and unprofessional. We had already told all our friends and family about the party, and it was too late to make other arrangements. We had to quickly find another restaurant, which was very stressful. What's even worse is that when some of our friends went to Castle91 on the day of the party, they saw another party happening there. This shows that the restaurant was not being honest with us. We are very upset and are planning to complain to the Consumer Department. I strongly advise others not to book Castle91 Restaurant for any events. They don't keep their promises and are not reliable. *I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone.*

   We had a lovely evening with our 2 sons trying different Indian dishes. The food was lovely - highly recommend the entrees and dhal. Staff were promt and attentive to us. They have an all you can eat buffet on Wednesday and Thursday nights. We are hoping to try this out. Thank you, we'll be back!

   Food was lovely. Butter chicken was nice and rich how we kiwis like it. Portion sizes was very generous. Even though we just walked in after they finished an event, we still managed to receive fast service and food. Only thing I will say is we asked for hot but received mild however was still lovely.

   This is the BEST AUTHENTIC INDIAN IN TAURANGA . We have travelled around the country and the city and this is by far the most beautiful dining experience and food . A special mention to tonight’s staff and our waitress Kuljeet . We ordered the butter chicken , coco fish , garlic bread , samosa and 2x mango lassi. We only live close so this will be our local .    The best Indian we've found in Tauranga. The medium Butter Chicken and Korma are just perfect. Not too hot, but not too mild. The perfect mix of spicy and sweet. I recommend both the Brookfield and Greerton ones to everyone.

   We went there a couple of weeks ago for the first time. It was just a great experience, the service was excellent, our waitress ( Tuesday ) was so good. The meal itself was the best Indian we have ever had. I would have no hesitation in recommending this restaurant to anyone. In fact it was so good we went back the following evening.
