Great food and the teenagers working there tonight were great but I heard the young Chinese guy yelling at whom I assume to be his dad and child. I’m not usually the type to comment negatively but I have seen another review saying the same thing which was posted recently I’m not sure if this a regular occurrence but this needs to stop.
First time here...yum! Beautiful fish, chips and hotdog. Thank you, we'll Definitely be back!
First time ordering and it was yummm! Reasonable prices and the batter on both fish, hotdog and fritters was great. You can tell they keep the oil clean. Cheesy wheezeys were a hit also! I’ll be back. Convenient location and a tidy little shop even though it does seem old and run down - u can tell they keep floors and surfaces clean.
The hard working crew at Omokoroa deliver of taste and value with delicious fish and chips and an extensive Chinese menu..we had the crumbed fish n chips for the kids and the Wife and I shared a Chicken chop Suey with Sweet and Sour Chicken….outstanding, highly recommended if you’re in the neighbourhood A***
Lovely burgers and fries, but found lots of bones in the fish twice in a row so won't buy that anymore.
Gets busy being the only chip shop. Great food but plan ahead because wait times of over an hour during peak times.
Sorry to be negative but there was little good about this meal. The chow main was just cauliflower, broccoli and carrots with some onion, chicken and the noodles were crispy noodles stirred in and half soggy...bizarre and tasteless. Nasi Goreng with no spices just like a combination fried rice and again little flavour. Sweet and sour pork the best of the bumch but we've had way better. Really disappointed and not authentic at all. Maybe an off night? We should have stuck with the fantastic Omokoroa Pizzas but really fancied a Chinese Takeaway.
Have been going here for years, since they first started in fact. Just had my last visit. The past two years they've took a real down turn. Smallest scoop of chips in the bay now, Fish rarely fresh (frozen ) but charge top dollar. Prices increase every couple of months. Have no sense of community just want Money. Used to do the best steak burger, but now they cant even be bothered 'velveting' the steak, such a shame.
