Recently did a shoot for the Good George and the team was awesome to work with! I had some yummy fish tacos and the iconic plum cider, thanks for the hospitality. Looking forward to our next shoot :)
Very thorough tour, with an awesome insight into the history of the Good George story. Lots of sampling opportunities and a explanations of the process that happens behind the scenes. We followed up with some good food and a pint at the finish. Such a cool thing to do with visitors to the Tron and locals alike. Highly recommend getting a group together and doing this!
Our first time at Good George Dining Hall and it did not disappoint! The staff were amazing and brought such a positive vibe to the atmosphere! The food was amazing I had the smashed beef burger and have not had a burger so yum in a long time! I had my 14 and 8 year old and there was options for them all - my younger son loved the bento box! Highly recommend and would definitely go back!
Best kids menu in Hamilton. Friendly, attentive staff, unique building with exposed beams, stained glass and covered outdoor seating - great lunch spot to enjoy a cold one. We ordered a pizza, overloaded fries and our daughter had the cherrios bento box. Great value for money and something for everyone on the menu.
Great pub experience. All the classics done really well. Staff are friendly and nothing seems like too much trouble. They love their product and dont mind giving advice about it even trying different beers and ciders. We went on Wednesday night which was "Burger Special" a burger, fries, and anything that is on tap for $29. We had one of each burgers, fish, chicken and beef. They were all of a great size and you could not fault them. Beef was especially juicy and not dry or over cooked. The same could not be said of the pork belly bites, although it had a great sweet sauce the bites were dry and stringy. The cheesy baguettes were amazing and a great starter. The food was good but the staff were better. The made it very homely and especially Leslie, he made it a night to remember. His customer service is second to none, both professional and welcoming with great knowledge but not pushy. Great place with background music, plenty of televisions to watch. Also having a bottle store so you can purchase your drink of choice is a massive plus. Great place with groups large or small. We will be back.
A 15 to 20 minute walk from the middle of town. The Good George dining hall is well worth the effort. With a tray of 5 or 6 beers/ciders. Some of the nicest seasoned fries as well. Thanks to Leslie and Sam for looking after us during our visit, well done guys.
Best thing about Good George Frankton - Leslie. Beer range was decent but no Porters and some beer ranges were out of stock so the range wasn't strong but Leslie made sure we all had a good night and really looked after us. Best micro brewery I've been to (and I've been to many)? Probably not but one single staff member made the difference.
Great venue for beer lovers, I ordered a delicious IPA along with the big platter for 5 of us, a good deal. This place is well decorated, with a small shop at the entrance. It was a Sunday lunchtime and it was pleasantly quiet, so service was nice and fast. Staff is courteous and ready to serve. The outside area seems to be great at summer time. Gotta get back there then.
We'd heard this place was good and already loved their beer, but it exceeded our expectations. We went for lunch and the restaurant was beautiful, the staff very friendly, but it was the food that really surprised us. We highly recommend the combination taco platter for 2. The pulled pork and brisket tacos were wonderful, but the dynamite chicken tacos were our favorite. (They were so good, in fact, we came back and got them for dinner that same day.) Also, if you like beer, get a tasting paddle. The IPA is one of our favorite beers, but it was a treat to discover more favorites which included the Sparkling Ale and Small Wonder. And we were especially amazed with the stout, much better than Guinness and only available in Good George bars. Good George Brewing & Dining Hall was the highlight of our trip to Hamilton.
