We had our own fish battered & also had battered mussels & chips from Cheywood Fish Supply & Takeaways. This was one of the best fish & chip meals we have had.... the mussels were big & delicious. Chips not soggy & our own fish cooked perfectly. Highly recommend this fish & chip shop.
Terrible burger no love . If only people cared about our hard earned money 2 buns crunchy chicken and Ole lettuce for $8.50

My partner and I went to get dinner from here. We rang up and placed an order and a young girl took my name and number and said it would be 30 mins which was fine. Arrived and my partner went in and got told there was no order for us, so just reordered and they were great making it up fast for us. Went home ate it and about 40 mins later I get a call from them accusing us of not picking up our order that had been sitting there for 25 mins. I explained that we did go in and got told there was no order for us....(definitely the same place as it was the only one in the area we were staying and the call logs on my phone match from when I made the call and when they rang me). The lady refused to listen to what I was explaining and started raising her voice and telling me we "wasted their time and money, and never do it again" which is completely unfair as it wasn't our fault they didn't communicate instore. Despite being treated badly...the food was really tasty.

Awesome fish and chips, great tasting light batter. This is the place to go for fish & chips in Tauranga. We always come here when on holidays with the family and have always had a great meal.
Good packs available.. nice chips especially half cooked.. good size fish.. delicious burgers.. reasonable prices.. great customer service.. smorgasbord..
