Such a great indian cuisine! We picked this place accidentaly passing through Matamata and were very pleasantly suprised so we even came back the second day. Great food, very friendly and professional service at the same time, very nice atmosphere and smell! Definitely a must stop in Matamata!
What a surprise find! We had the lunch combo which is great value. The curries tasted great. We especially enjoyed the Punjabi chicken and Rogan Josh lamb. The pappadoms are delicate and crisp. We were given extra naans and they were great, too! Definitely coming back next time we’re in Matamata.
This restaurant offers authentic Singaporean cuisine. We thoroughly enjoyed many of the dishes we tried, both Singaporean and local favorites. The staff was incredibly friendly, and there were plenty of vegetarian options to choose from.
WILL NEVER RETURN! Poor service and food sucked. Waited almost an hour and a half for 2 dishes, was told 30min wait time when ordering (there was only 2 dine in tables with people and they were both already eating, wasn’t busy). No apologies for the extended wait time or explanation. Further disappointment order was incorrect. Missing 2 items and the items provided weren’t what was ordered (ordered mild received hot inedible for the children) or was disgusting to eat. Waste of money.
Great service and the food was delicious. We also tried the masala tea and it was sublime. We will definitely come back. We fell in love!!! One of the best places we’ve been since my friends and I arrived four months ago. They were really kind to us. :)
Very nice and such a surprise to find in Matamata. Liked the flavourful food and snacks and not hot. Great service and pleasant ambiance. They even have a bar. I had the Kingfisher Indian beer which went well with dinner. We will be back often.

Dinner was the shizz! Loved it all. We all had different dishes and first time trying them, it was a hit! The only thing I would recommend is a bowl of rice for each dish as all 3 of us adults had to share one bowl of rice, and then we were charged for the second one we requested because there simply was not enough rice. My favourite is the cheesy garlic naan bread! Amazing! Overall would go back again and again. The lovely young lady who took our order was awesome!
