From the very first moment, you’re welcomed not just as a customer, but as a guest — almost like being invited into someone’s home where love and care simmer away alongside the curries. The food is nothing short of soul-nourishing. Every dish tastes like it’s been crafted with pride and joy, carrying with it a warmth that can only come from people who truly love what they do. The butter chicken is velvet comfort, the naan arrives like a cloud kissed by fire, and even the smallest details — the freshness of the spices, the balance of flavours, the portion sizes — whisper of genuine hospitality and respect for the diner. But what touched me most wasn’t just the food. It was the people. The kindness of the staff, their respect, their smiles, their patience — it turns a meal into a memory. In a world that often feels rushed, Indian Pavilion reminds us to slow down, to share, to savour, and to leave fuller in heart as well as stomach. Greerton is truly lucky to have this place.    Hello Sue here, Just wanted to let you know on Friday the Chef cooked me some amazing Naan breads , they were so thick and soft just how i love them. i will be back again probably later this evening to get some more.    absolute worst service ever! called up for a pick up order and was told it would be a 20 minute till ready. showed up 20 minutes later, payed and was told to wait a few seconds, 30 minutes later and i was still waiting for me PICKUP order. A ENTIRE HOUR for a pickup order bc they screwed up and gave it to another customer. absolutely furious, i will not be going back. Terrible serving time, ever slow.

   Fast service, only 5 min wait. Nice staff. Amazing butter chicken even as takeaway. 22$ combo with rice, butter chicken, naan, and a can drink was well worth the price. There is plenty of parking right outside the restaurant.

   The food here has been consistently tasty, delicious and cooked well. We prefer the spicy butter chicken not the sweet version that many Indian restaurants serve in NZ. This restaurant serves as requested by the customer. The naan is always soft, fluffy & fresh. The mango lassi is thick and tasty. It’s a delight to order our favourite dishes from here, and it’s the reason we keep coming back.
