This is the best Indian cuisine in the whole of Tauranga! And itβs good value for money. I come here 2x a week and Iβm never disappointed. The chef is friendly.
I purchased 2 spring rolls for $12 and it was horrible. It didnβt even look like a spring rolls but more like a hot dog and the taste was not pleasant. Service was limited with no greeting on arrival or departure. Lucky I decided to try something small before wasting money on main dishes. Highly disappointed and will not return. I gave the food to a random person a few stores down as I hate throwing away food but did let him know I did not like it so he knows what to expect. Do better and cook fresh food.
I just bought Indochinese food from here(veg Manchurian dry and gravy and paneer chilli dry). And it was not even good for eating was totally uncooked. I never recommend any food from here I spent $55 just for nothing and spoiled my dinner as wellβ¦..
I never do reviews but this is the most underrated Indian in the BOP Iβve never had such a unique and delicious Indian. The dosa was a 10/10, they season their food impeccably and the service was very friendly and accommodating. If you like Indian food and youβre in the Tauranga area, itβs definitely worth going.
Paneer Takatak was yummiest panner dish I have ever tried on reasonable price and quantity. Our son loved chicken tandoori. Very warm welcome from Sunita. Will have another takeaway very soon.
Great place for authentic Indian food in Tauranga. Hidden in between the other shops, it may not be as flashy as other Indian restaurants and takeaways in town but they do serve food that tastes very similar to authentic Indian cuisine. I say this because I have tried a few other places but this one is the best. Thank you and great job Team RBIR you surely have me as a regular customer.
I started ordering from this place as soon as it opened. For first 3 times i ordered quantity and quality was good but this time the quantity was very bad. Half filled and full price paid. The taste was good but the quantity didn't match up. I called regarding the issue and the lady seemed to be rude. The chef was nice however didnβt give any compensation. Told me will fill it up to top when next time i order and didn't even write my name down to remember. P.S. i told the lady there were no toasts in tomato soup and looked like just tomato paste, she replied βwe donβt put toasts inside tomato soup and this is not India.β Hence, i doubt if it is Indian food restaurant.
Highly recommended βοΈβοΈβοΈβοΈβοΈ Great food and affordable prices. Butter chicken is a must try at this place. If you are looking for Authentic Indian taste, then Royal Bites is probably the answer. Masala Dosa and Vadapav is what I tried and definitely the best in town.
