Excellent food, service and an excellent range of craft beers! Very dog friendly outdoor area out of the wind and sun.
Best place to go for a beer. Great service and Dave is a legend. Alt kitchen food is always above average and the pizzas are delicious. Would recommend this place if your ever near.
Love, love this great little pub! Superb service; the team are passionate about the beers they serve, they are knowledgeable and happy to help with your selection which is great considering the choices are plentiful. The atmosphere is relaxed and friendly, there is a cool little food truck offering a small but tasty menu of mainly gourmet burgers and sides. Well worth becoming a regular if you are lucky enough to be local and definitely worth a stop if a well brewed and well kept beer is your thing.
Maybe my favourite find on this Canterbury trip. My friends just moved into Woodend and having found this spot he wants to make it his local. Friendly service, great selection of beers. Burgers were pretty basic but flavourful and extremely well cooked. A great venue perfect for spring days (probably summer and winter too!), with an awesome welcoming atmosphere. Hats off to everyone involved, this is a brilliant bar
Great range of on tap beverages (very partial to the ciders myself). The burgers are fantastic (especially the pork belly) and less than you pay for "gourmet" burgers at Maccas. Highly recommend - We're going to become regulars.

This place is the shiznit. Amazing craft beer with 22 on offer from local brewers. We definitely ticked a few off the menu. The outdoor area is amazing and surprisingly warm. The wood finish reminds you of being in a Viking Hall. The food van outside also hits the spot with beautiful burgers on brioche buns. The Good Drop is certainly ahead of the rest and I'll be back
Geat choice of real beer on tap to take away & quaint space if you want to drink there. Efficient & friendly staff. Grab an amazing burger from adjacent Alt_Kitchen & make an evening of it!
What a gem. If I lived in Rangiora I would be a regular. Some fantastic beers, great burgers and a real vibrant atmosphere.
