Great value for money. Excellent service. Food was out quickly and nice quality Good size portions. Great variety kids menu. Staff very attentive and nice. Will definitely eat here again. Also play area out back for kids.
Took an hour to serve 35 people all at once. We take our hats off to you. Lovely meal, great atmosphere, good prices.
It is a local watering hole..popular with locals. I don't know what the accommodation is like. They serve typical pub meals..but the waitress kept forgetting to bring some of the order. She gave my husband a free ice cream by way if an apology though which was nice.
The place was humming. We had a really enjoyable meal and evening. Staff were awesome. Only comment would be that meals were very slow to arrive (but we were told this before we ordered). It was lovely to be able to catch up with the owner towards the end of the evening and thank in person for the great evening. I'd recommend The Plough for your next group dining experience.
Popped in for food, having been here before, we knew how good the menu is. We weren't disappointed, the chowder was so decadently creamy, it felt almost guilty eating it. The baked chicken was beautifully prepared and the roast veg was perfectly cooked and so tasty.
Without a doubt, it was one of the best meals I've ever had. You definitely get your moneys worth, and I would challenge anyone to finish everything on the plate in one sitting. We had a table of 18, not one person had a clean plate and everyone loved their meals! Would happily go back and will be recommending others to go!
My absolute favourite pub, hands down. Great food, for both quality and quantity, at reasonable prices. Staff are super friendly, good fun and great at what they do (including making fabulous cocktails!). There's a great beer garden which has a playground for the kids and is also dog friendly. I can't speak highly enough of The Plough! Definitely recommend!
