   Verse I: The Throb and the Thrum The street outside was a Hamilton howl, yeah, a chrome-plated, low-riding dream. The V8 Holden—a rhythmic throb, a mechanical, muscular stream. It pulsed against the plate glass, a pure, raw, internal combustion beat, But inside? Man, inside was a sigh—the generic Italian treat. A mandolin weep, a violin sigh, a Muzak moon in the ear. Two worlds clashed hard at the doorway, with nothing to hold them near. Verse II: The Noodle Verdict I settled in deep, under the nice light, the good vibe, the polite staff’s eye. The menu’s promise, a Roman echo, beneath a New Zealand sky. Then it came: the great plate, the golden-white heap, the classic dish they call life. The Carbonara, it stood on the table, a challenge sharper than a knife. I raised the fork slow, the true moment arrived, the final, undeniable test. And the verdict? Brother, I gotta be straight: "It was fine." Not worst, not best. Just... fine. A middle-of-the-road ride. Verse III: The Sweet Revelation The pasta done, the moment was dim, the energy started to dip, But then came the closer, the sweet, cold salvation, the dessert that passed my lip. Oh, the Profiteroles, man, a miracle puff, a small globe of cold, dark grace! With the chocolate sauce dripping, the cream filling singing, they lifted the mood of the place. They were good, they were great, they were righteous and right, a sweet, cold, perfect design. They redeemed the whole meal, pulled the score from the dirt, a true flash, a genuine sign. Verse IV: The Final Snap So the engine still idles, the music still drones, the night still leans in for a peek. The staff was attentive, their smiles were on point, nice people, solid and meek. A fine plate of pasta, a killer of a sweet, an evening of mixed-up speeds. The roar of the muscle car outside, drowned out by the whisper of needs. Go for the cream puff, dig the V8 vibe, nod at the waiters and smile. Portofino: It’s a good kind of blur, for a night, for a little while

   The food, service and atmosphere were all fantastic. The (normal) prices were really reasonable. We found the portion sizes perfect if you're having multiple courses. Highly recommend, will definitely go again.

   I quite enjoyed dining here. Food was hearty and nice. Spaghetti was good but not al dente. Garlic bread was good but dough not that really fluffy type. I’m being picky though, because I would go back.

   My family came here for mine and my brother's birthday lunch and it was so beautiful. There was about 25 of us and the meals still didn't take long. The customer service was absolutely awesome and welcoming. The food was so Devine and there was enough space for all of us, we weren't squashed up. It was such a great Italian experience. Thank you for having us.

   Nice atmosphere! Extremely busy on a Saturday night. Took about 10-15mins for the server to come take orders but that’s algood. Pasta portions are large and rich in sauce so very filling! Thankful they found us a table even without a reservation on a busy night.

   My friend and I were walking through town with our doggos. We were looking for somewhere to eat on a cool winter evening and decided pasta was a good option. We called out to the staff to ask if dogs were ok outside and we were told yes and to sit at a particular seat that had overhead heating. The service was excellent. The lovely waitress evening brought out a bowl of water for the doggos.

   Our waitress was amazing, all the staff were friendly and easy going. All of our Food was AMAZING! (gluten free friendly too!) Cocktails were awesome! 10/10 would definitely recommend and will be back Photo of my tiramisu

   Enjoyed a really nice meal, both my partner and I had the gluten free pasta and you honestly could not tell anything was different. The limoncello and port we had after were both delicious. The whole experience was packed with flavour.
