   We waited over an hour for food before walking out. The 2 out of 5 who were on a different number got there meals half an hour out be for the garlic bread was brought out for us Their Beef burger was Chewie and the chicken Parm was not Brest but thigh and wasnt juicy or saucey. Waffle fries not chips. Only one bouncy castle was inflated, was meant to have water at the bottom and didn't making for a hard landing. We weren't the only ones who asked for their money back and left to go else where

   We came here based off a recommendation and will definitely be back! We ate early, so there wasn't much of an atmosphere and the service was a little relaxed - which is fine, as we weren't in a rush. The food was out of this world! The portions are huge and the flavour in everything was just amazing. Our table each had something different and everyone thought that their dish was the best. We honestly loved this place and can't wait to visit again!

   We had an amazing experience at this restaurant! The Texas Cowboy Platter was absolutely delicious – packed with flavor, perfectly cooked, and presented beautifully. The portion size was generous, and every bite tasted fresh and satisfying. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and the staff were attentive and friendly, which made the dining experience even better. Definitely a place I’d recommend and will be visiting again!

   Great food, great ambiance. Some cocktails weren’t as good as we expected, but still tasted nice. We had the rodeo platter, brisket platter and arancini. Espresso martini was average, mango bango was okay, everything else was delicious. Thought it was a crime that Guinness wasn’t served the correct way. A can and a non Guinness glass was given to us to pour it ourselves. Service was good, the restaurant was spacious and we had an amazing time here. Will definitely come back.

   Great place for a breakfast, with great positioning to the sun in their outdoor area. Wait staff had great hospitality and made a seriously good coffee. We got the eggs Benedict with an added hash brown and it was 5 stars - I was a bit delayed with the photos so will upload more next time we are there!

   Wow wow wow driven past this place a few times in the short time we’ve lived North Canterbury…. Such a great local experience… great brekkie even for my difficult dietary needs … heads up the coffee is excellent to… friendly happy staff and even the owner came out for a meet and greet… Totally recommend a visit here …

   Do you know about the Better Half Restaurant in Leithfield SH1...we dined tonight at The Better Half Restaurant in Leithfield. This place is an absolute gem! From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with warm hospitality and a friendly smile. The ambiance was cozy and inviting, perfect for a romantic night out or a gathering with friends. The menu was simply amazing, featuring a variety of dishes that are sure to please any palate. The flavours were spot on, and each dish was prepared to perfection. The Blue Cod was a standout for me, with its perfectly cooked smashed potatoes (beyond perfect) and succulent Buttermilk Chicken Burger and those heavenly smashed potatoes (again). The deserts were to die for....the Lemon Cheesecake accompanied by a delicious lemon curd sauce and ice cream and the Sticky Date pudding. Spectacular. In addition to the amazing food, the service was top-notch. Our server was knowledgeable about the menu and was attentive to our needs throughout the meal. The waitstaff was friendly and efficient, making sure that our dining experience was nothing short of excellent. Overall, I would highly recommend the Better Half Restaurant to anyone looking for an exceptional dining experience. The food and service were simply amazing, and I can't wait to come back and try more dishes! We were totally surprised and impressed. The photos don't do it justice.    Very good food, very nice staff but due to understaffed situation the service was a little slower than usual. The staff was amazing and very nice though! The food was very very good and tasty and also came in a decent portion. They also have a nice collection of beers, some of them are local, which is always a plus. Overall, great experience and a better staffed team would make it just perfect. I should also mention the spotless toilet facilities. Something we don't see too much these days.
