   Food and environment are nice. But the service of the staffs are super poor. The response and service by the staffs are really to be improved and retrained well. We have being meeting many polite and friendly staffs in all New Zealand restaurants throughout our trip except this restaurant. Really hope that the owner of the restaurant will take it seriously to improve their staffs’ service.

   We went to Amazinita for a birthday dinner. The food was very tasty — I recommend it, and the portions are generous. However, the service wasn’t the best. We had to get up several times to place orders, and other times just to have our dirty plates taken away. One of the dishes took around 40 minutes to arrive, and by the time it came, everyone else at the table had already finished eating. There was a live DJ, which is nice, but the music was way too loud for dinner — it was hard to have a conversation. For cocktails, though, it’s a good spot and I would go back just for that.

   That was a fantastic meal, and I don't say that lightly. I would re-order everything we had tonight and, while I didn't take a photo of every plate, let me just say that each of these tasted better than similar dishes I had at a 'higher end' restaurant the night before. I'd be more than happy to order just the croquettes for myself, but add the prawn linguini to it and it's so, so good. Our table also split a rib-eye which was cooked well to our temp, the pork mac & cheese, and the buttermilked fried chicken entree. Very happy with the cocktails as well. Basically, happy with everything which is why I'm writing this to remind myself that YES I would come back again next time I'm in Christchurch.

   A gem on the terrace in Otautahi Christchurch! Such a cool vibe inside with all the pants and lush seating. Their cocktails are bang on, menu solid and service attentive and professional. On a sunny day it's great sitting outside with a drink and watching the world go by too. Definitely worth checking out.

   I heard a lot good about Amazonita from friends so expected we can have a great time but my experience was average. Didn’t think entree and main all come same time. No space for one of main dish and waiter told us “I can’t bring back to the kitchen” I ask if we can move to bigger table but all booked up. After few conversation, she took dish back to kitchen but we have been told “it will get cold”. Also none of staff come to ask “any other drink or checking if everything is okay”. Not hurry to go back

   I really enjoy going here for dinner. The ambience is amazing, service is always good and the food is hard to beat and always of the same standard. This time I tried the chorizo flatbread - new favorite YES! The Market Seafood Spaghetti is my favorite and hard to go past. Next time I'm going to try the Pork Roulette

   Cocktails were delicious and service was friendly. The food in general was good and the lamb was the most tender we ever had. However the food here is overall quite under-seasoned for us.
