   Not a big fan of criticising food, but this experience was really subpar. I ordered a bada pav and tiki chat via Uber. After waiting an hour, I finally got my food. It was just flavourless and the quality was really poor. I'm not sure what kind of chat it was – no taste, no flavour. I don’t even want to mention the bada pav – it was just too bad, so no comment on that.

   Me and my partner tried Hobson Indian Takeaway for the first time, and we were really impressed.The food was absolutely delicious—especially the biryani and samosas, which were full of flavor and freshly prepared. The staff were very kind, welcoming, and accommodating, making the whole experience even better. We’ll definitely be coming back again soon! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

   Noticed this place has changed hands again to Hobson Indian Takeaways, previously Delhi 6 and before that Sai Tandoor. Its was the garlic naan bread that got me back for a second try, but couldnt tell the difference between the garlic naan and garlic and cheese naan bread this time. The butter chicken was great fresh taste but very watery and less pieces of chicken. The Korma lamb was nice and thick with great medium taste. I see advertised bain marie on window from 12 till 9pm, they were all empty at 6pm but i am looking forward to seeing them full and trying them all when i come back. Home delivery was also available. Great menu selections. Pricing affordable. Clean and tidy. Lots of parking and seating table and chairs available. Service friendly, bit slow considering we were the only people there. Looking forward to coming back.

   Absolutely best food and service. Totally recommend xx will be back and will recommend people to try. sooo good. we have butter chicken, lamb korma, garlic nan mango kulfi and pistachio ice cream and mango lassi. all amazing.

   Hands down one of the best Indian restaurants in Christchurch. We had an amazing meal and we will definitely be back. The Goat curry was so smokey and rich. Chicken Saag coupled with the garlic cheese naan was a match made in heaven.
