    The food is good, however the service could be a little more polite and welcoming. I felt that sometimes there is a sense of bias towards people who come to collect food as Uber drivers. A small request to handle food respectfully rather than throwing it, and to offer at least a simple smile, would make a big difference. We are all human and just doing our jobs. Hope this feedback is taken positively.

    Subject: Urgent Complaint Regarding Poor Customer Service and Staff Behaviour Dear McDonald’s Customer Service Team, I am writing to formally report an extremely disappointing experience at one of your stores. I attempted to raise these concerns over the phone with the manager, but the response I received was unacceptable. During my visit, I witnessed and experienced the following issues: 1. Rude and Unprofessional Behaviour: - The staff at the front counter displayed a consistently unfriendly attitude, particularly towards DoorDash drivers and other customers. - When attempting to engage politely, their responses were dismissive or aggressively rude. 2. Inappropriate Conduct from Staff: - A cleaner became involved unnecessarily in interactions with customers, creating an uncomfortable environment. - The looks and body language from the front counter staff were hostile and off-putting. 3. Manager’s Response: - When I tried to report the rudeness and overall poor service, the manager shockingly told me, “Don’t come to our store if you don’t like our customer service.” - This response is deeply unprofessional and dismissive of any concern a customer might have. I understand that the team may be under pressure due to high order volumes and staffing shortages. However, this does not justify such behaviour towards customers and delivery drivers. This is the worst customer service I have ever experienced at a McDonald’s. I strongly urge McDonald’s Head Office to investigate this store, review the conduct of the staff and management, and take appropriate corrective actions. Thank you for your attention to this matter.     I mean ofc the food is good but giving service 2/5 stars. Always get my order wrong. I pay more to get my extras and they never add it on. Every damn time it’s ridiculous ! how hard is it to read and make an order …. Wasn’t even busy. Just rude

    Went through the drive through tonight had purchased a mcchicken and BBQ bandit burger, the mchicken came out fine however my BBQ bandit burger came with every thing in it but my burger patty! How do you miss you the main ingredient in a burger? I have tried to call to get this issue resolved however no one seems to be answering. This is beyond astonishing. Highly disappointed.

    Food was served fast. Nice and hot. The servers were great. The only reason for a 4 star is that the playground was quite small and the area for parents to be able to be in there was tiny.

    Perhaps not their best day, Sunday, 515pm, although didn’t seem super busy. 15 mins and no long black, nothing else to the order just a coffee. After a visit to the counter it was with me in 2mins. Thank you barista and for your apology, I won’t be back though.

    I’ve lived in papakura majority of my life and they really need to work on there customer service. No greeting multiple times I’ve been there it’s just a “what’s your order” anything else while I’m still talking. To add to that I tell the staff that’s all thank you. I’m barely finished speaking and there speaking over me to drive through. I get to the window but two staff members are talking on the side so I drove to the other window as I got no greeting no idea on what’s happening other then a intense conversation. I work in hospitality have done for over 10+ years from a dishwasher, a chef, to a manager. I understand every aspect to hospitality and it’s clear that the customer service is in need not a nice feeling to but quick dinner and your server can’t be bothered. This photo was taken after they questioned me for driving to the next window. Requested I drive back and still made me wait.
