Owners are lovely! Quantity and quality is for sure better than the fish and chip shop on Vincent and Wellington!

A small cozy & family owned fish &, chip shop which has been around for more than 20 years. Friendly service We were recommended the fresh gurnard fish. We ordered three crumbed gurnard & one battered gurnard, two portions of chips and half dozen of fried onion rings The fish was fresh, firm & moist inside The chips were nice & were fluffy inside They have a fairly large menu too which include oysters, mussels, spring rolls, etc The fish & chips are far better than those chain fish & chips outlets

I've been to this place once or twice as i'm fairly local and now a third time so it's not a coincidence, there foods okay for a takeout, but there proportions are trash the picture below is 6 dollars chips, sausage's were 3.60 each okay that's fairly average from most places, there toasted sandwiches are okay 5.60 for the one we got, but everytime iv been there the lady has been rude and short as hell even when there not busy.

The husband and wife team are always friendly and hardworking. Once they know you, they know what you will order. I always order on the phone when I am 10 or 15 minutes away and the food is ready on arrival.

Probably the worst fish an chip shop around.Anything you order will be overly greasy, the American hotdogs are borderline in edible the cheese tastes nothing like cheese and only like grease there is almost no sauce on it and the actual sausage is dry. The chips are always mushy and poorly cooked. And somehow they thought it was fair to raise there entire menu price. The staff are very lazy and struggle with english. One time i went in and had to wait while the staff were tearing apart boxes i ended up leaving from how long they took to serve(they didn't) . I would highly recommend going to any other fish and chip store around , on the other end of botany road next to howick intermediate is a much better store.

I couldn't really understand what the lady was talking about when I tried to placed an order over the phone. I ordered Special A. Fish tasted like pre-frozen. Crabsticks were just okay. Chips and sausages were alright. Potato fritters were good. The batter was crispy. Slightly oily. Fast service. Overall okay.
