   Best fish and chips in Takanini. Always good service. Prices still reasonable, fed 3 adults and 3 kids for under $40 using the combos. Fish fresh, chips crispy, burgers taste good. Hot dogs, fritters and nuggets get the thumbs up from the kids. Better to ring your order in as they get busy!! No seating while you wait so be prepared to stand outside the shop.

   Awesome takeaways, owners are friendly and they remember your name after a few visits. The dood is cooked well no dripping or oil loaded on the fishn chips. My nephew took me there so when I visit as I've moved I will always buy there . Thank you Takanini Takeaways

   Great hot chips, crisp on the outside, moist on the inside perfectly salted, good portions and they seem to use fresh oil every batch, can't think of another fish and chip shop close to the area who are this consistent.

   My fav place in takanini/kura for a cheap Friday night takeout. Yummy burgers, love their hot chips too! Kids love the hot dogs, nuggets and fish too. Pays to ring in for your order as they are quite popular. Recommend!
