We had a fantastic experience at Ethereal Restaurant. High tea was amazing one of my favourite Paua tart very tasty so yummy. Staff were friendly Highly recommend
After a disappointing experience during a previous visit, I shared my honest feedback via Google review. I wasn’t expecting a response so I was pleasantly surprised when Mervyn reached out with a thoughtful and professional reply. His genuine commitment to addressing concerns and improving guest experience was clear and appreciated. We were kindly invited to return and just last night we dined again to celebrate my husband’s birthday. The food was fresh, well-prepared, and beautifully presented. We enjoyed it better than before. The birthday dessert with the “Happy Birthday” written on the plate added a nice personal touch to our celebration. Would like to commend the lady who was serving us (sorry I forgot her name) giving us extra smiles everytime and was very attentive and made the evening even better. Also Arthur for taking the time to speak with us, really appreciate it. Even though the restaurant is just two minutes from our home, we’re looking forward to checking in at the hotel next time for a staycation and to fully experience what they offer, including the pool and buffet breakfast. This visit has really improved my impression of the place and I’m glad we gave it another chance. Thanks to the whole team!
Came here after being lured by reel of ig food influencer. Did not disappoint. The seafood platter was scrumptious and salivating. Was confused by the meat inside the fried croquettes, turns out it's crab in white sauce. Everything was beautifully cooked and presented, I suggest if you are a seafood fiend, it's worth the drive out to Karaka to experience it yourself. The restaurant itself is comfortable and new(ish) since the hotel only opened in 2022. Very glad I braved the rain and traffic to taste such an exquisite dinner!
The ambience is good and the staff are helpful. I went for dinner but I was not feeling hungry, so I thought of having light food, but the snack time of the restaurant was already closed, I requested the staff for light food and she checked with the chef and made it for me. That was one of the good experiences to share with. The food was tasty and filling. Ordered some chicken wings and a beer.
Could not fault the food, however the service was a little slack. I was told Fish of the day was kingfish, salmon arrived (didn’t complain I prefer salmon) had to ask to see the dessert menu but no one came back to take our order. It wasn’t overly busy so a little disappointed by this.
Thoroughly enjoyed our date night meals and the service from all staff was excellent. I had salmon, hubby had the eye fillet. Sharing so you can be inspired to try them out!
Great service and hosting from staff. The only thing, my meal came later than others, was a steak meal although was a rear steak came later than others. Also being outside diners felt a little overdressed, being a member of public not staying at the hotel with the name Hilton was a bit wierd.
