   JB Hi-Fi Botany – Price Match Policy Is a Complete Sham JB Hi-Fi Botany loves to brag about their price match policy, but the moment you actually try to use it, the whole thing collapses. It’s nothing more than false advertising disguised as a “deal.” I asked for a simple price match with a major retailer, and instead of honouring it, the staff scrambled for excuses. Suddenly the competitor was “not comparable,” the stock was “limited,” or the price was “too low.” It honestly felt like they were making up rules on the spot just to avoid matching it. What’s the point of promoting a price match if you have no intention of actually doing it? The whole experience was frustrating, unprofessional, and a complete waste of time. JB Hi-Fi Botany clearly doesn’t stand behind the promises they advertise. If you’re expecting fair treatment or a genuine price match, don’t count on this store.

   Yesterday I had the absolute pleasure of dealing with a young chap named Eric at JBL Botany. Eric must be one of JBL’Ss top assets in the Botany store. His breadth of product knowledge is extraordinary and his ability to explain the differences between one product and another including comments about how they have been designed and the way in which they are intended to operate is amazing. Eric is also a great salesman and is very astute in establishing what the customer thinks they need and what they really need. I came away from Jay BL with my brand new over-ear earphones very delighted with my purchase and especially pleased to have been helped by Eric. Keep up the good work Mate!

   I went to JB Hi-Fi BOTANY to purchase a laptop and had a really disappointing experience. The girl who served me was lovely and tried her best, but it wasn’t her fault — she clearly needed support. Unfortunately, the middle eastern or Indian manager on duty made no effort to help either of us. He didn’t want to assist or offer any solutions, which felt super rude and dismissive and he was flirting with one of the girl customers while he could see we clearly needed help before she did. I ended up having to call Q Card myself, sort out the refund on my own, and then drive to the SYLVIA PARK branch where everything was resolved quickly and professionally. I had the funds and should’ve been able to walk out with that laptop that day, with or without Q Card. The lack of help and basic customer service from the MANAGER made me feel like I was being treated as if I didn’t know what I was doing, which was really disappointing and I will never be going back.

   I bought the Arlo Spotlight twin cameras and found that there was only 1 fixed bracket and 1 magnetic bracket in the box. Ben at the Botany store was most helpful in checking whether they had fixed bracket’s available. Ben is an absolute star and an asset to your company!

   Sister in law just bought an iPhone, unfortunately there was some miscommunication with the pickup - within an hour, Vasu (the Sales Manager) had sorted it out for us. Gave us a call back to notify us on the status. Just top-notch service, if you need something sorted ask for Vasu.
