Delicious island cooking. Always friendly staff. Can’t decide if my favourite is the curry and taro or otai! The private function space looks really good so might book our next big family gathering there because I know they’ll all love the food.
The staff at Velata Way is super friendly and nice. I went in late one evening to try a Tongan banana doughnut and the lovely staff offered me several for free, as it was the end of the day. I wanted to still pay for just the one to try and support this fantastic local business. Although the doughnut wasn’t to my liking, as they are nicer heated up or freshly fried, I was very impressed by the generosity of the staff member. Highly recommended!
