    a family favourite. steak and mushroom plate is out of this world. creamy and rich, but not too overpowering and heavy. always hot and fresh every time we’ve ordered. you definitely get your moneys worth here as the portions are very generous. friendly service as well. 10/10 :)

    I ordered creamy mushroom on chips and my friend ordered island plate (steak option). Creamy mushroom on chips - the sauce was insanely good, It was more on the cheesy creamy side than a real mushroom tasting sauce, I think it would be perfect if it had more of a mushroom flavour but it was still so yummy. The chips were cooked to perfection, I was wondering how they stayed so crispy and flavourful after being soaked in the mushroom! I gave some to my friend and she said “I could have this as my death row meal” ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Island plate (Amy) - 10/10, everything was good

    Really enjoyed our kaikai today. My Papa'a hubby found this place close to his work and he loves it. Island plate $20 with rukau, 2 chicken drumsticks, a sausage, mainus chop suey and rice - great value. Couldn't finish, had to take it home. Probably cos I was distracted by maniota ūki and island donuts. Took home some banana and pumpkin poke (a bit too sweet but appreciated the kai), some dessert trifle and Nutella pudding... and more ūki. I would definitely return to try other items. Meitaki atupaka for putting our kai out there. Also, it was a late lunch.

    Honestly the best steak & mushroom sauce I’ve ever had the pleasure of eating. My favourite Cook Island food takeaway for sure! Donuts are awesome too, as are the coconut buns and poke. Thanks for the yummy food.

    I had the chicken and mushroom served with white rice and mainus, it was so yummy and filling and I only ate half of it with a doughnut. So worth the money.
