   I was very disappointed with my Japanese spitz grooming done on Sunday 21/12 . I was overcharged for the services and my poor dog looked like had a rush shower . Untidy coat cutting and the stains were still there on his fur, no cut done under chin area and grooming was done in 1.5 hour. When I contacted to give my feedback , it was rather a joke that my dog will get a 20 dollar nail clipping. Do you think I will ever go back there again after the stress and depression I have gone through with my little fellow. I got ripped of for 142+24=166. This is what we call customer satisfaction.

   The ladies at the counter are very helpful especially when it's the first time you've owned a pet. Lots of fish tanks. Kids will love this area. They have a price beat and will match the price if someone else is selling a product cheaper.

   Giovanni is amazing.He did such good job on my golden retriever and gave her a beautiful groom for summer. I was nervous as this was her first groom outside of her usual day care groomers, but he was so patient and calm with her which made her just as calm. He understands dogs and what is the best for them. Plus my golden came out with the biggest smile on her face. Will definitely be heading back there.

   The staff here are great, super friendly, definitely pet lovers, always happy to help you around the store or carry a heavy bag of food to your car. Takanini store has a good selection, though not quite as big as some of the large stores elsewhere in Auckland.

   I am beyond upset with what has been done to my dog. Here I have a before photo of his eye and 2 after photos (before and after grooming). On arrival at animates groomers I had a nervous but healthy dog no redness in his eyes just a healthy dog. First off the groomer was very rude and treated us like ignorant dog owners. we've had my baby for 9 years and he's never had health issues till now. I rung them as soon as I got home and noticed his eye and the woman on the phone proceeds to tell me he'd had the eye issue since before the grooming. if that was true why wasn't I informed? and besides that why would she lie the woman barely even knew who I was or what dog I was talking about! I heard her call to another groomer asking if she knew my dog!!!! do not come here.
