Great food!! Super flavorful and tasty food. We came in at around 7pm on a Thursday and were the only people there the whole time we dined. The staff was very kind. The only issue with the place was that there were bugs in the sink.
Delicious fried rice with authentic Sri Lankan flavour. The food was fresh, the service was friendly, and the atmosphere was welcoming. Highly recommend Grand Ceylon for a great dining experience.
Really good Sri Lankan food with lots of variety. The service is nice and friendly. You can arrange your order the way you like, and the prices are very reasonable for the quality. Definitely worth it.
I recently discovered your restaurant by sheer accident, and I must say it was an incredible experience! The food was absolutely outstanding—easily a 10/10. The food was amazing. And the ambiance was insane! This has such a high end vibe. The outside looks a bit old but inside is amazing. But what really elevated this experience was our waiter Shirley. This man is full of happiness and energy and he is so kind and welcoming to us. He is probably the best waiter we have had in New Zealand. Also this is probably the best Sri lankan restaurant in Auckland. We had an amazing time celebrating my daughter's birthday
It was great. We went on a Friday night, for the Buffett there wasn't a great many choices, but I reckon it was good. The atmosphere was nice it is a kid friendly restaurant, parking was not too great, planning on going on a Saturday night, to see. Will update my experience then.
You must try the Sri Lankan buffet from Saturday to Sunday. Prices are reasonable although the variety is quite less.
We really like the inside of the restaurant. The whole decoration is kind of wooden, rustic. It's a bit dark but you will get used to it. The salads are pretty much Kiwi style. The meat section has limited choices. The lamp Rogan Josh has lots of bones and fat. The devil fish has bones as well. Please be very careful. Only two items for desert.
