   I haven't even bought anything from them yet and I have had bad experiences. I tried contacting them via emails on their website, and contact form. After 3 no replies to info sheet on a small lathe I rang. The salesman seemed very uninterested in answering my questions. Managed to get info emailed to me, but this experience puts me off spending my hard earned money with them. Maybe a bad culture there? I don't know, but it comes through in the buyer experience.

   Handle missing from the chuck key I ordered, took multiple emails to place the order in the first place, prices are really high for the cheap Chinese products you will receive. Shop elsewhere

   $ 8000.00 lemon proudly supplied by CHEVPAC MACHINERY Supplied faulty,shoddy repairs had to go to Disputes Tribunal to get it repaired and again broke down. In two years lathe done about 5 hours of work.

   Chevpac has given me a really mixed experience. I originally bough a used lathe of them, it was going to be my first lathe. I went down to check out the lathe, and the guy there called sid was amazing, he showed me everything I need to know, and was honest about its value and what it needed. I won the auction and went to go pick it up a few days later. Just as they where moving it out, they dropped it off the forklift and basically destroyed the machin. these things do happen but it would have been nice if they where a bit more careful. Sid again was great, he showed me what he recommended I did and what ild need and found a the right machine for me. I've noticed a few of their products are a bit higher price than very similar offerings from machinery house, but the extra accessories and service in helping me pick made it worthwhile, especially for a new guy who was just starting out. So far the lathe has been of good quality for a Chinese lathe. Chevpac also has a much greater range of products, so sometimes it beats machinery house out on that. I would like to see an system for getting shipping costs and and paying with card, as is standard most of the time. Right now I have placed an order and have waited over a week for a reply, nothing on the phone either since I need to pay by card.

   Staff had large disagreement/physical fight in store about a forklift yelling and swearing. Told eight items in stock couldn't find any of them. You get what you pay for with their gear (low end china quality) but there should be a set level of decorum and presentation bough to customers. Want some quick bits but definitely would go out of my way importing items from oz than using chevpac again. Their team just didn't even have the ball let alone being able to drop it.

   Ordered a powersaw blade off their website, was expecting to get a normal courier price and pay by credit card. Instead the order gets submitted and someone has to manually get in contact, which seems a bit absurd in this day and age of ecommerce. Anyways, I get a call the next day stating that they only sell the blades in packs of 10. Why list individual blades if you are only going to sell them by the 10? A bit of a waste of time really, not sure I would try again in future.

   A poor experience. They refused to discuss a motor that was purchased and I had a problem with. Their reason was that I left it 4 weeks before coming back. I explained that it was a hobby machine and I only got around to fitting the motor in the last few days. They refused to allow a credit or exchange or discuss a refund and furthermore they didn’t want to test the motor and said I must have worn it out in the month I owned it.
