   Thank you to Puneet and his team for the hospitality and excellent service. We thoroughly enjoyed the delicious, flavourful and authentic dishes. We were served promptly, definitely the best garlic naan, chicken tikka and mango lassi we have had! Highly recommend.

   We came to Bayleaf as a group of 4 (4 adults and a 6 year old) for dinner on Sunday evening. When we arrived we were greeted warmly and shown to our table. The menu has a lot of option all very enticing and enough to get the taste buds ready. It ranges from meat, seafood, veggie and kids options and a variety of Indian and Indo Chinese options. 2 of our group were vegan and they were more then accommodating with our dietary requirements, we went with aloo gobi and a veg saagwala which were so tasty, I only wish we could get the recipe. The also ordered butter chicken, vegetable biryani and a prawn malabari and it was safe to say there were no leftovers. Not only was the food great but the service was great aswell, nothing was too much to ask and all of our questions were answered right away or if the answer was unknown, the question was quickly asked to the chef and the answer was delivered right away. I can honestly say this was one of the best Indian meals we have ever had and we will definitely be back

   I visited along with my daughter 2-3 times and ordered different dishes We both enjoyed the Indian food as it was delight for our taste buds and gave us feel of Indian food as we used to have in India. The service and hospitality rendered by Mr Puneet was great. I would highly recommend you to visit the resturant and enjoy the Indian food.

   The board that can be seen on the street advertises lunch specials. However when I sat down to dine in i was told the special is only on take away. $22 dollars for a vege curry with no naan or drink. Curry was flavorless. Cutlery was dirty. Menu had food stains and food crumbs. Bad experience overall. Wouldnt recommend.

   We loved Foreshore and with new management, the food isn’t the same anymore. We ordered one hot and one medium hot butter chicken. We received two medium hot butter chicken instead. The chicken tasted burnt, lacked of flavours and I found a sharp metal piece in my curry. This has ruined my appetite mid way through my meal. Very disappointed as Foreshore was our favourite place to go for amazing Indian Restaurant.

   We ordered from Foreshore, circa a little over 2 weeks ago. Upon eating our chicken lollipop I discovered the meat was raw. Instead of posting a public review straight away, I contacted the restaurant about it to handle it privately, as we are frequent customers. Due to me getting mucked around via emails, I've decided to share my experience publicly now so everyone is aware. I was informed that Ti Rakau branch was sold to a new owner and that they would be in touch. To date, no one from this branch has reached out. Sadly, I find the handling my complaint rather egregious, given that eating raw chicken would have made us serverly ill.

   Decided to have Indian lunch after watching a documentary about Indian cuisines. We have ordered here before and knew that their food was amazing. It was my first time to order lamb biryani, chicken rara and tandoori platter. Usually I order the one I'm most familiar with (which is butter chicken) but today I wasn't disappointed with my lunch. It was very flavorful and everything tastes authentic. There's only 2 of us in the house but we got leftovers for dinner and tomorrow's lunch. Let's all support Nz businesses at this tough covid times.
