this is a great modern thai restaurant that have dishes focusing on lighter complex flavours balancing sour and sweet very well. The vegetarian and vegan dishes hold their own as dishes well thought out. Highly recommended.

We had an outstanding meal at Tok Tok in Takapuna tonight, amazing service and the dishes we had were 10/10! Big fan of the salmon summer roll and the popping prawns. James Ashwin Kakapo Business Sales

Good Dinner here. Had a starter and a main between two people. Also extra rice and Roti. Great flavour with the curry however the meat was quite fatty. Roti is amazing. The tacos were also nice and quite large for a starter. Service was good nice staff. Atmosphere was average, very quiet and big tables for couples.

Great food, great service. We had a really good night. I’ve been here numerous times before, very consistent and delicious food. I had the popping prawns, kaffir lime chicken, papaya salad and the sweet and sour pork. The sweet and sour pork was next level, highly recommend…..as with all their dishes!

Very busy on a Friday night, so booking is essential. They do have Banquet meal options, but we ordered our own. We had the Crispy Half Duck, Sweet 'N' Sour Pork Belly, Wagyu Beef Pad Seuw, Popping Prawns, Beef Cheek Curry and Green Papaya Salad. Lovely selection of Drinks. Parking around the corner.

Our family visits this place often. Above all, we are satisfied with all the food, but I felt that the food potion was much less than last time on this visit.

Food good. However the duck dish was horrible. Wont be ordering it again. Too pricey and too noisy. But would recommend just dont order the duck dish.

It's always a pleasure to dine at Tok Tok. Great atmosphere & service. Love, love, love Tok Tok. The popping prawns, tossed greens, miso eggplants, and the most amazing pandang tapioca pudding dessert are not to be missed.

Not a fan. I couldn’t drink the cocktail, it was cloying and unbalanced. We also received our food first and waited well over 5 minutes for drinks - they should really hold the food until you have your drinks with you. No one wants to stare at expensive small bites going cold while you await a beverage. The vibe is busy and bourgeois - price tags to match. The wagyu bao, however, was absolutely delicious! We didn’t expect it to be great (who crumbs and deep frys wagyu!?) but it was gorgeously good. The crab and scallop on bettel leaf, in stark contrast, had a tomato-tin tang that just obliterated any flavour of scallop or crab. To call it unpleasant would be a kindness. No delicacy across anything really - the dine wasn’t fine. The younger staff are just lovely - even if the manager-looking lady in mufty had dagger stare for days.
