The only 2 places to go and get my duck, roast pork is this place and the one in Otahuhu.. Both are owned by the same person and there flavour is outstanding... I have eaten a lot of roast ducks everywhere yet I keep going back to these 2 places because of this orthentic Chinese roast duck flavour is a 10/10..
The food wasn’t as good as it use to be. The guy plated our food up and used the microwave to heat it up. There were flies around the microwave smh. The atmosphere is very poor. I would not recommend at all.
Best roast pork on rice in NZ. The chili is nice and hot, the spring onions give an extra bit of flavour. I haven't tried much on the rest of the menu because it is too good
This has been the spot for my family and I for YEARS! I remember coming her since the early 2000s and the food always hits the same. Price is decent, big portions, best Pork on Rice in South Auckland!! Steamed Chicken and Duck is amazing too Highly recommend eating here and if you order your meal, make sure to get extra side of spring onions ! The best!
Reheated food portion is slack taste is not great, not worth it definitely don’t recommend
Small shop with home dining room feel. Extra pieces of furniture made space feel cramped. Arrived as their own family/friends(?) were sitting down to lunch, which was cute! No fish or chips - strictly rice and meat. Started at $12 for single to pricey cost for large containers of mostly rice. Located down one-way lane off busy main road, so limited parking at door. Will probably go elsewhere for better value ($56 for 2 large plastic containers).
Numero uno place for duck, chicken, pork on rice. Consistently top yummy quality! Price is good for what u get.
Proper Siu mei (roast meat) like you get in Hong Kong. Cantonese roast pork, pork belly, duck and/or chicken with rice, spring onions, and chilli sauce if you like it spicy. It is not flash but the food is perfect and the prices are good. Less than $15 a head for a "small" portion which is huge unless you are a glutton. Opposite MacDonalds in Otahuhu so you can park there but eat real food at this place instead. You may be surprised to see locals wearing pyjamas at dinner time in a restaurant, but you are in the hood, so just eat, as somebody said.
Very sad serving for a medium meal FROM WHERE THEY USE TO BE, I understand the prices going up, I ordered x2 medium BBQ Pork & rice & to see the sliced bbq pork cut in half again to make it look like heaps is daylight robbery. Tai Ping might be the way to go ? & I love this place, that well may change soon
