Great cafe with yummy food. The service here is outstanding, we have been given slightly unripe avocado and had it changed with no issues. The coffee here is amazing as well. Favorite local place
This is hands down the best breakfast spot in all of New Zealand. Everything—from the combinations to the layers to the flavors—is absolutely perfect. Just look at our empty plates and you’ll know how delicious it was!

Open early - friendly smiles and great service. Try the gingerbread- it's simply out of this world! Breakfast bagel with fried eggs - hits the spot! And coffee served as you like it! Early mornings see lots of walk ins and foot traffic. Streetside parking- seating indoor and out. - well worth the visit if you're in the area. Two thumbs up!
I’ve realized how much I enjoy these casual neighborhood spots. The staff exude an easygoing kindness, and as a newcomer, I feel like a welcomed stranger. Most of the regulars don’t even need to place their orders— the servers already know their favorite drinks and dishes. I hear this is what they call Kiwi style. The food is simple yet far from boring, with layers of rich flavors. Today, I tried their new summer special—refreshing and delightfully light.
Super friendly staff and good food and drink. Great neighbourhood cafe. Have had the carrot cake a couple times and usually get an oat milk mocha or chai latte.

Super friendly staff and very warm and welcoming atmosphere. Funky and hip song playlist too. Came here with my brother and ordered the B.L.T which was perfect, with a very generous serving of bacon!! We didn't have to wait long for our food or drinks so this is the perfect place to stop in during your lunch break to grab a quick bite. We will definitely be back to try the other food!!
Such a good local. The owners (ex-Dizengoff) are really friendly and make a great coffee. We usually pick up sandwiches from here, but today decided to eat in. The bacon comes from the butcher next door and is expertly cooked. The grilled sardines are a famous menu item and live up to their reputation. The kombucha (complete with steel rather than plastic straw) was the strongest I’ve ever tasted.
I'm always looking for something unique when I try a new place. "Good Day" has that for me with there sardines on toast dish. As a poor kid in G.I i grew up with these types of dishes. It tasted like how i remembered and accompanied with a tasty broccoli apple salad yumm!!! Coffee was good, and the service was super quick and friendly. A real gem in this neighbourhood, will be planning to go back soon.
