Lovely café with great morning vibes. The staff are friendly and the service is always good. I really enjoy their sushi and the mix of multicultural fusion dishes — everything tastes fresh and well made. A great spot to start the day!
Nice little place for my lovely wife and I to have a date lunch on a Saturday. Can imagine that parking an issue during week but Saturday lunch time was perfect as we parked pretty much right outside. It was quiet with only 4 other groups in or out over the period we were there. Like the kiwi / Asian fusion. I thought the prices were very good and competitive especially when you look at other cafes in Takapuna and Milford. Food selection very good and quality also good. Coffee a little on the weak side for me but nice. Sushi looked good quality as pieces looked a good size and was reasonably priced. Food wise I got the Okonomiyaki Omelette which I enjoyed but they were a bit stingy on the 'Add bacon' extra as got two half pieces with my omelette for $4. Staff attentive and charming
Visited Blind Basket Café with a friend and had such a great time! The miso salmon was perfect—so tender and flavorful. My flat white even came with some cute latte art, which I loved, and the Super Brown smoothie was thick and delicious. It’s the ideal spot for a relaxed brunch with tasty food. Definitely recommend!!!
Decent brunch place, interesting location with somewhat difficulty in parking. Clean atmosphere and a nice array of fusion brunch menu. Nice sushi, enjoyed the dish, anything including Asian twist on traditional brunch menu is always up my alley!

It's basically a perfect cafe. The menu is varied so that adults and children can enjoy together, and the friendliness of the staff and cleanliness of the cafe stands out. Foods that can be enjoyed with fusion are equally delicious and there is something quite unique and special about this cafe compared to others which is spectacular. I will definitely be going to this place again as it met all my standards and if I'm being honest, there really isn't anything wrong with this place as it has a nice vibe and comfortable atmosphere.
Just about everything was mediocre. Nothing stood out, but the coffee was reasonable. Parking was a challenge and had to lift the pushchair up steps to get in (not cool). Overall a sub par experience.
We came here for lunch and ordered a couple of burgers and some coffee. I love the coffee, very nice latte art and tasted great. The burgers were also quite tasty, though I feel like there wasn't enough meat (in this case chicken and crab) to it. Would be keen to come back and try the other dishes though.
Nice atmosphere and friendly staff. Thought the soft shell crab burger was on black bun but turns out it wasn't - it was a good bun though i have to say! Parking could be an issue.
