   Ordered the pork benedict, it was very substantial, while the corn fritters not so much. Both were well presented and tasty. Unfortunately the coffee tasted burnt and cafe was a little too quiet. A bit of background music would be nice. Prices were really reasonable.

   I was staying with my friend, who lives just a few minutes walk from this café, whilst I was over from Sydney for a week at the end of April 2025. This is my friend's go-to place for her coffee most mornings so we decided to have breakfast here a couple of days. I had the Corn Fritters with bacon one day and my friend had the Green Bowl. The next day my friend had the Corn Fritters without bacon and I had the French Toast. Everything was super delicious but my favourite was the corn fritters which were so light and scrumptious! They are big meals though. The staff are really friendly with great service. Next time I'm back in Takapuna, I'll be back.

   I ordered the pulled pork nachos and they claimed there was 110 gas of pork. But I literally could find more than a few tiny bits of pork in amongst the beans. I was looking really hard. I was so disappointed. If you're going to have pulled pork nachos on the menu you need to be able to see the pork. Would not recommend.

   Egg salad sandwich had a strange taste, possibly an indian flavouring. Coffee was just warm. I won't go back.

   Most disappointing Eggs Bene I've ever had. The potato rosti was burnt, the eggs were misformed and watery, the salmon was cheap and low quality, the hollandaise was distasteful, as were the pesto and relish. The presentation was average, and for how long we waited, it definitely wasn't worth $23.

   Had 2 meal here. I found the food a little on salty side. The burger patties were quite hard, felt like it was out from a freezer. The service was pleasant though. Unlikely to eat similar meals again.
