Best ramen I’ve ever had! Had the grand zen nose with the beef short ribs and it blew my mind. So happy we discovers this gem.
The waitstaff were efficient and welcoming. The food came out very quickly, I was surprised it came so soon after ordering. The portion was good and it was delicious. I ordered the seafood ramen and a coke and was very happy with my choice. The broth was also delicious, the seafood was tasty, the veges were fresh. The seating area had a nice and calm ambiance and I felt no pressure to leave when I had finished eating so I was able to sit comfortably for a while to let the food settle before heading out. Very nice experience, would recommend and would come again for sure !

Delicious food and a fantastic atmosphere! I visited with a group of friends and expected some wait time for our meals, but was pleasantly surprised by the quick service and high-quality dishes. The ramen was a bit salty for my taste, but every bite was warm, flavorful, and comforting—perfect for an unexpectedly chilly evening.
Haven't tried Ajisen since Melbourne and really found a great one at Takapuna. The kids had their kids meals which were substantial! And they hadn't yet received their ice creams which were included with the set. I tried the spicy ramen with spicy karaage chicken. So good! Highly recommend it. It was very busy but I used the Magic eraser to remove the patrons from the photo of the inside of the restaurant.
Ajisen Ramen offers a wide variety of choices; I found something that suited my taste perfectly. Although I initially missed the option to order via QR code, the staff was helpful in guiding me through the process. The ramen arrived surprisingly quickly. The broth was flavorful, and the noodles had the ideal texture. The fried squid was crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. Thumbs up!
Glad that ajinsen open a branch in Takapuna, even though we missed Mamak! Great Japanese ramen, uniquely designed environment, feels like you are eating along the streets in Japan. Highly recommended !
Trying to find back my Ajisen ramen memories that I’ve got in Singapore during my studies. Ordered a spicy flavour ramen and it’s taste good! soup broth thick enough and the portion quite big too. spacious place and good service, it was not too peak during the time I visit (Friday, 1:30pm) moderate price, but good location. Lots of parking available around, it wouldn’t be a problem to find one.
Best ramen I’ve tried in Auckland so far! The flavours in the soup were really tasty, good portion size.
Great food selection, not too overwhelming. Flavors hit the spot. Service was quick and friendly. A bit on the pricey side but well worth it.
