I went to this store last week Thursday and was served by this blonde girl she was lovely she served me and had fabulous customer service
To over priced. Handbag was $95. Clothes are so jammed up on the racks.
Great service and everything reasonably priced. One of my favourite second hand shops.
These prices are totally mental! $30 for a used toy? $12 for an old crystal glass?! $15 for an old Glassons top?! I don’t want to donate to this charity if these are the prices they are charging those in need! Yes, I get that it’s all for a good cause but it should be a circle! People donate, you sell for a REASONABLE price to those in need, whatever profits are then given to the cause. Absolutely absurd!
@Owner. Thank you for your response. You are aware, the retailers you mention are products that also present in your shop selling at only a fraction of the new price. Bulk of the items are run of the mill fashions. The "Select" higher end fashions make up only a tiny percentage of the store. West Auckland has a few great SPCA stores with op shop pricing to match the products that have been "donated", no one is disputing the cause, which is what I mentioned at the start of my previous review. At the end of the day, sales speaks volumes, prices need to be adjusted according. ----------------------------------------------------------- Another of 4 expensive op shops in Onehunga. Cheaper to shop Kmart. Again with the "it's going to a good cause". I get that. Items are donated, seeing alot of people walking out empty handed. In the store for about 25 min. Can see people walking in and out with purchasing a thing.
Big thank you to the pick-up team, Jan and Paul, you both were so kind, respectful and full of aroha. We greatly appreciated the honesty with what could be uplifted and what material was not in such good nick. A big shout out to the team, and if you're looking to donate, give a thought to the fab Onehunga Team!
Today I witnessed a shop assistant come out from behind the counter just to follow a mother and her young children around the entire shop. She proceeded to rudely watch everything they did with an obvious look of disdain, and without any hint of discretion. Mamagement, if you have cameras in store, I strongly recommend you go back and watch this encounter which took place at approximately midday today as it as it was very very unnerving to witness. Totally disgusted with her behaviour, especially after reading another similar review with a similar story from a week ago. Do better Onehunga SPCA.
Nothing quite like going into a store and being watched the whole time. I had just purchased a NRL jacket from across the road at red cross - which I was holding as I did not have a big enough bag. One of the lady's followed me around or stood just far enough to see what I was doing, I ended up purposely holding the jacket so the tag was hanging off and they could see it and then left. I won't be back and I don't recommend this place at all.
Nice shop, great service, will come back
