I reserved a cot with a mattress, paid extra upfront and arranged to collect it after the Christmas holidays. When I arrived, the staff member (an older lady) suddenly claimed the mattress wasn’t part of the deal — despite me paying for it and discussing it at reservation. She argued with me instead of checking, then cancelled the sale with no solution or offer to help. Very disappointing service, poor communication and zero support when there was clearly a mistake. Still waiting on my refund — very frustrating and not what I expected.

i love going there , but today while in the store came across used shein jacket for 25 nzd while new one is cheaper, prices are not as accessible or affordable as they used to be for an op shop

Certainly not a community shop with those high prices. Pair of secondhand pants $25 also a horrible sweat top yellow well worn $8 horrible rag. I also saw a swing ball that's nearly the new price and they've had it for months. Racks are jam packed full. I don't think this shop will last. You can buy dinner plates, dessert plates and cups cheaper at kmart or the warehouse new people. Do your research because they don't.

Good range of clothes, especially the designer rack. Sometimes has brand new Zara clothes

Well presented curated store. Pricing is overly expensive. More expensive then Postie plus shop. Literally 1 other person in the store besides me, quite a big store. Says a lot. The prices are just over the top. Onehunga has 4 other op shops that fall into this category. Way to expensive. Better off going to North Shore, half the price of Onehunga stores. Honestly, go to Kmart, much cheaper. Difference between Kmart and and Red Cross store, Kmart pays for their goods. Starting to get tired of hearing, "it's for a good cause" which is why pricing is high. Also pay attention to the photos uploaded by other shoppers. Empty - devoid of people but for a staff member. Shows how badly priced items are.

Sometimes when I visit this shop I feel insulted as a customer. Dirty, broken items are priced silly high. The have used food jars on sale for $3 - ones you'd find in your recycle bin. Ripped, dirty paintings are priced at $40. I get it, you're a charity. But you get these items for free. The original purpose of an op shop was to give the lower-paid people the chance to find affordable items. Where did that go?

Large shop, but the prices are too high for second hand clothes. The eftpos machine is always crapping out and several times the lady has calculated my items wrong.

Amazing shop filled with great clothes for the winter, amazing bargains, awesome selection of furniture that're still in great condition and shopkeepers that provide amazing service, would so recommend to give this place a visit.
