The way the guy at check out prepare the food is so disgusting he is using his hand to get naan bread putting on the plate and the butter chicken is all messy on the plate. The staff needs full training for good customer service. The staff at the check out he was so rude. This is not my first encounter to this guy. And he is talking in their own language with other staff and looking at me. He got my orders first but he served first the customers behind me. We've been waiting for our food for so long and standing infront of him. We asked him where is our order he said wait. But he still serving the other people. They should serve us first before others because our food is been paid already and we are standing waiting. And the way he look at us is so rude talking to his own language is unacceptable! Im not coming back anymore I will tell to all my friends my bad experiences in this place. Very very bad service!!

One of the worst food experience and worst service, no cleanliness and service with high attitudes, not a professional and hygiene people. Heated the rice twice and added too much masala, not good for gut health. Very rude staffs. I wouldn’t recommend anyone because of food quality and staff hygiene .

The food was average and the portion sizes were quite small compared to the prices charged — overall, I found it to be quite expensive. I’ve noticed that your branch in Newmarket offers the same menu at more reasonable prices. For example, the same pakoda dish that costs $5 for 3 pieces in Newmarket is $8 here, and the lamb biryani which is $19 with a good portion in Newmarket is $24 here with a smaller serve. Another concern — when customers can’t finish their food and ask to take it away, I don’t think it’s fair to charge an extra $1 for a plastic container, especially considering the already high prices. A paper tray might work for plain rice, but biryani is oily and not suitable to carry in a paper tray. If you’re offering the paper tray for free, then a plastic one should also be offered free when needed for oily dishes like biryani. It’s about practicality and customer care. I’d strongly recommend reviewing your pricing and customer service policy around takeaway containers to match the expectations of your customers — especially when you’re charging premium prices.

Just not the vibe!! Disgusting food, couldn’t get the stains off my hand despite washing it thrice. Super oily and not at all appetising to look at. The staff doesn’t even know what the offers are, the combos and stuff and keep charging whatever they like. Much more better places to eat Indian food in Auckland.

Disappointing to have tasteless rice and far too much spice in my Tika Masala.

Amazing naan made by chef Bhopal. Couldn't resist having a chat with him after meal to appreciate one of the best naan recipes he has here served fresh out of the tandoori oven. Just beautiful. Other places usually can't get the naan right but at Eat indian it's very best and many compliments to chef Bhopal for so great naan to go with the korma which was also very nice

I went to Sylvia Park for lunch today with two of my work colleagues. It was a last minute decision to go out for lunch as all three of us had a busy first half of the day. We ended up at ‘Eat Indian’ where we were served (if you can call it that) by a very disinterested employee who didn’t try to engage with his customers. Anyway, all there of us ordered our meals. My meal was ready first, my two colleagues waited 15-20 minutes. Today ‘Eat India’ came up short in all areas of their business. I hope that this feedback makes ‘Eat India’ better for the future. Due to the poor service, the meals were average. Hope you guys do better moving forward.

Lovely and cozy new space at Sylvia park, 2nd floor. The staff was friendly and all smiles. Very accommodating, price is reasonable too. I ordered garlic naan which was freshly made, still hot and perfectly seasoned --i hope size will be a lot bigger though. Haha. I love the interiors of this small indian resto, would definitely recommend and be back to try their other indian food, coz it looks yum!! Go on, give them a try! Lovely food, excellent customer service.!
