Excellent! Dr Joanne Gad was very approachable and thorough in her examination. The receptionists were all lovely also. However the nurse on duty was unfriendly and did not have a nice manner which is important when you are feeling stressed and unwell.
Really crap service on reception desk here. I arrived a few weeks ago after 5pm and they told me the gp visit cost more money after 5pm so I paid the extra cost. I work during the day so I can't make it until the evening time when I see a doctor. Today I made the effort to get there before 5pm and I made it with 10 minutes to spare before 5pm. The receptionist was dealing with 2 people in the que before me and didn't have any sense of urgency about her at all and then when it was my turn, it was a couple minutes after 5pm and she was wanting to charge me the extra cost and I explained to her that I was here before 5pm and was waiting in the que and she insisted on charging the extra fee and told me that the system wouldn't allow her to do otherwise which is a big load of BS. I work with payment systems and all systems can be adjusted for all situations. People are struggling in tough times with the current cost of living and you don't need to take advantage of your patients. I will definitely be registering with a different doctor after this visit.
I am not satisfied with the standard of service I received. The doctor did not act in a professional manner, as I was asked to wait while another patient was prioritised over my appointment. This was a one off visit after a fall the day before. I've been here before and I've always found the staff helpful. Even though they are super busy, the doctors akways take time to listen. I had a lovely doctor and I enjoyed the conversation.
WISH I COULD GIVE ZERO STARS. I'm writing this review with a huge disappointment about the service. Today is the first day we came to this place to get ourselves registered to a GP and to get my partner’s health checked by a GP. Been waiting here patiently for 3 hours after handing over the documents to the receptionist and they still didn’t call our name. We went to the receptionist desk to ask about the delay to find out that they haven’t even put our names in their patients list until we checked. I believe that this is really unprofessional because we also have other things to do other than waiting in a medical centre for 3 hours. If we haven’t checked, we would have still be waiting in the queue where other people who came after us got already called in and had left. After one more hour of waiting (We waited for 4 hours), they still didn't call our name and we checked again with the receptionist to find out that there are 5 more people ahead of us who came after us. We wasted a lot of our time in here today because of their bad service. This has never happened to us before in any other medical centres and we saw that most of the other people also left the place with a huge disappointment. When I checked the reviews, i can see that it’s not only us who got bad service like this. I hope they would improve their service without being irresponsible and unprofessional because there were senior citizens also among us.
Went in to get something looked at, waited four hours, paid $50 for walk in and was told to count back the next day. Paid AGAIN and waited four hours just to be sent to the hospital and got told that a NURSE sent us. Not a doctor. Waited six hours at the hospital just to be told that a real doctor didn’t even see us.
Been going to this doctors for 25 years and today is the day I finally need to find a new doctors. How you can justify charging someone $50 to see a doctor is beyond me! A big price jump from $19.50 to $50. In this day and age where medical help is a necessity! Shocking. Definitely not “for the people”.
Do not go here for stitches. Went there for a gash to the forehead, only four stitches placed and now a large scar and the skin is not joined properly. A nurse in my family said they should have used finer stitches and placed more than four. Not good considering this is an A&E clinic.
