Came on a weekday lunchtime for Yum Cha. There were available tables when we arrived. You select the dishes you would like to order on a piece of paper and hand it to the waiter. The dishes are brought out once ready. The food was pretty good and you get 12% discount during weekdays.
The food we had was SO tasty. Staff were friendly. The pork and shrimp sui-mai was delicious. Deep fried prawn dumplings were also so so good. The sweet and sour pork is probably the nicest I have ever tasted. The crispness of the pork along with the sweet/ spur sauce took things to a whole new level of yum!!! I am not sure of the spicy beef dish my son had but he thoroughly enjoyed the meal. I was surprised that the meal was also not over priced. I would recommend trying a few dishes and sharing like we did. All in all a lovely meal out.
Good to have a yum cha place in Sylvia Park, this one is pretty standard in terms of taste but the presentation definitely stands out a bit. I really like the addition of shaved ice on the menu. Service was good, and the food came out quickly as well. They do get quite busy on weekends and there was at least a 10-20 minute wait, so we went during off peak hours to avoid that.
Best yum cha I've been to so far. Love the food, always delicious. Staff could be a little more friendly but no biggie. Highly recommend the crispy chicken and the cucumber salad.
Fast service. Buns were hot n tasty, loved the soft pepper crab, spring rolls, crispy pork, egg plant except for the dumplings which were hard and chewy, not fresh.
The food is good , the service is just alright and the thing is the time I went in there are many free space and table available , I was guide to sit at one table which is not too big for my 3 people but while I was eating , they suddenly guide another 3 peoples to squeeze in the sit at the table with me even though there are so many others more table available , so uncomfy .
Foods were ok but don't order their chicken feet. Taste as hard as rocks. Customer service was not good either. Have to remind them a number of times to serve tea. And the resturant was noisy too.
Poor service, average food and dirty place. The table were soo sticky and all couches had food spots everywhere not really good looking neither hygienic.The guy was keep ignoring us and we need to stand to give him the order. I call him 2 and both of the time he watch me and keep walking away. Not busy at all, 4 table in total. Food nothing special. I both some rice sheet with beef and the meet was still raw, even if u can eat raw beef (if fresh) not everyone likes it.The dumpling supposed to have the soup inside but all of it ( as also can see from picture) are flat and no soupy, they had holes on it and i guess the soup popped out. I ate in better places.Not recommended. Overpriced for the quality, quantity and the service.
