   The staff at this library make this customer "experience" (as it is called nowadays), not the institution. Why are there no phone numbers available for our community libraries? Surely, we can just phone direct for simple information, inquiries and requests rather then go through the interminably frustrating corporate worshipping "hub". ? I tried to go through the "hub" recently - the generic number that all council contact goes through for quite a specific question e.g. does this local library keep newspapers and for how long. As if someone who didn't work there would know. In any case, gave up waiting. I went to the library and the staff were fast, efficient, utterly incredible and helpful - unlike the frustrating system that manages communications with them.

   I've walked past this place several times but never actually bothered to walk in. Did so the other day and it is a cute little pop up library; though unsure if this is temporary (though it is definitely a replacement for the old Leys Institution library). I couldn't see a toilet while I was here; but other than that a nice little library in Ponsonby to get your books from.
