   This was our first visit to Dorothy Butler Children’s Bookshop while staying at an Airbnb just down the road — what a lovely find! I absolutely loved the wonderful selection of books, especially the board book section and the New Zealand picture book section. The cozy seating area is such a nice touch for parents and children to sit and explore books together. We were able to purchase some lovely books! A beautiful, welcoming store that we’ll definitely visit again.

   Auckland's finest children's bookshop - always well stocked, filled with the best children's books money can buy, with amazing staff who are always happy to help you find the right book with you. The carparking is convenient but do be sure to visit the machine and pay for your parking; the building's enforcement service is quite zealous.

   Great book store in Ponsonby. Although most of the books are for children, there are some books that people of all ages will enjoy reading and adding to their libraries. There is also a small selection of table top games, activity books, books in other languages and toys. The staff are very knowledgeable and will help you find specific books according to your needs. There is also half an hour of free parking available behind the building.

The lovely ladies from Dorothy Butler books were incredibly helpful, sourcing them for me, ordering them and couriering them out to me. I am so grateful for their help and would recommend them to anyone. If you need help sourcing a book, Dorothy Butlers is the place to start. You won't need to go anywhere else.

   LOVE this bookstore. Best children's bookstore in Auckland - especially for board books for babies and book/art related toys. They have a train table out and wooden toys that my baby loves to play with. People here are so friendly. We always come here on rainy days and leave with lots of new books.

   I haven't been to this book shop for years. My little girl is now 23 but I can see that it is still amazing. Instilling a love of reading from an early age is so important for your child's future development and this children's bookshop is the absolute best place for doing this. You and your kids will love it!!
