   Upmarket Mercy Opp Shop on Ponsonby Rd. Friendly staff with good energy & helpful & cheerful . I always buy something everytime I go there . Parking outside , free for a quick visit. High end second hand items, not the cheapest but have a lot of decent quality items. Always have customers visiting & in a nice area surrounded by lots of shops .

   This boutique second hand store human/land/building/products soul collective theme is "so not to be dumped/drowned in the ocean". Who wants wasteful overconsumerism in the 21st Century? The book Fashionopolis by Author Dana Thomas is highly recommended. Scientifically, one cotton shirt literally uses two and a half years of average human water consumption. This is truth and harsh reality! From this store, I buy shoes, accessories, xmas cake, designer good clothing, even boardgames. I recycle regularly giving back to this precious store. The staff here are pleasant, friendly, willing to contribute their volunteer time giving back to the community. They are used to me popping in regularly even to browse. It is only 15mns walk from my home in Herne Bay. Highly recommend this store, for quality items that last longer. University of Auckland taught in credit Chinese contemporary media (Grade A) metaphor "waste not want not" during Chairman Mao, Chinese Revolution era where clothes should last for 9 years, sensibly bought. Why do even wealthiest people, turn meaner than dogs not considering the environment? This is an important question. As part of my high deed, world ranking University of Auckland Arts graduation degree in history and media I have to remain environmental throughout my life to maintain my precious degree and "be in the public eye" and "critique". I can as a University graduate alleviate social and racial injustice, for myself included, years financially and emotionally undercut, which is abusive and therefore new law precedents for my sanity, health and to benefit future generations with truth and integrity. Mother Earth is utmost and the environment needs to be protected. For one last lifetime please please consider the environment which means more than human imposed degradation that is ridiculous, unreasonable. The environment needs to be protected for one last lifetime this Century on the unfortunate planet.    Have some okay stuff but it’s soooo overpriced. Saw an old Kmart alarm clock with obvious signs of damage for $10 - you can get them brand new for that price. A plastic water jug was $28! Who is pricing these things?? They need a reality check.

   Love their new location. Well set out clean interesting shop. Helpful volunteers. Eclectic range of goodies...more higher quality than Hospice shops in other areas thus higher prices too but great value for your money. Take your time to potter thru the shop to find that special something.
