It ok. Had a good time, location is awkward. Parking off side streets, and neighborhood seems to have a few dodgy people wandering around. Site had own security.
So Amazing! Had my sisters 21st here and it was really the best, so comfortable as soon as you step foot inside. Love love the owner and his bouncer they interacted with everybody & definitely enjoyed the night with everyone else. Such a blessed atmosphere to spend any birthday or special occasion here! The bull and stripper pole adds its little spice to the night! Definitely a night to cherish & remember ❤️ Thank you Shooters Salon Bar, Our family enjoyed every single moment of the night! Ps. Literally if anyone complains about this place it’s on themselves. This place is above and beyond! Love it, definitely recommend!.
Highly recommend shooters saloon!!! Thank you so much to the owner Shane your hospitality is beyond words it felt like we had known you for years thats how accommodating you was you fillfilled everyone's needs going out of your way to go get pizza and then to try buy it with your own money ! Making sure everyone was kept warm keeping the fire going all night ! Even when there was malfunction with the speakers you went running around to make it work and to give up your personal phone to play music and kept asking if we needed your phone if we need food if we were ok if we were warm cleaning up all the mess with still a smile on your face ! Omg God bless you! You are a wonderful man ! If you ever in Hawkesbay come down to the flax or horse & hound we got you !
Saw the below sign out front recently. Probably welcoming to certain illegal occupiers, but if you're part of the majority you should probably avoid. Update 03/23: Raided by Police shortly after for operating illegally, and without license. Update 12/07: Owner thinks the law doesn't apply to him.
All round great time. We celebrated my sons 21st at Shooters in November 2022. The staff were friendly, down to earth, and awesome hosts. The bar was well set up for an event with great entertainment for everyone. The mechanical bull was popular and a great laugh, and pool table and dance area gave us heaps of different things to do. The outside fires also made it a great atmosphere. The whole night was awesome! Not a drama or complaint to be found.
Secure and the owner is really friendly. The room the we stayed in was ok, we payed for what its worth. only one light was working so i was pretty dark and it wasn't very clean ( clean enough). in the room there is a shower ( really nice), bar fridge, coffee etc, kettle and a heater. Sheets were clean. the host is a very lively person though
Great place. The owner is friendly and fun! Highly recommend for bigger functions.
