Jay did a really great job!☺️She’s very friendly and skilled — she understood exactly what I wanted and gave me suggestions that suited me perfectly. I’ve been here twice, and this will definitely be my go-to place for haircuts in Auckland.
I had the scalp treatment today with Jay and it was a fantastic experience. The consultation was very detailed, and the treatment itself was thorough and perfectly done. My scalp and hair feel amazing. Jay was professional, knowledgeable, and attentive throughout the entire process. I’ll definitely be returning for another treatment in a month. Highly recommend!

New owner is just terrible. No skill yet cuts customer's hair. Don't test yourself or practice on your paying customers. Simple hair cut took 45min... owner has no clue how to design hair just cuts... total waste of time and money. Anothet thing that put me off was she washed my hair with rubber gloves on. Not latex!! Actual dish washing rubber gloves!!! It was summer shop was really hot and she decided to wash my hair with hot water.... I had to ask her to take the temp down... just clueless... Owner with no skills, doesn't want to get her hands wet and has had customer service skills. Never ever going back.
the bleach is not even applied and the 200 dollars colouring did nothing, it looked exactly the same as before colouring. Poor communication if you’re not Korean. Overall 600 dollars was absolutely overpriced.
This salon treats other Customers different to Korean Customers. I booked it for 4:30pm,arrived on time, and waited for 10mins, there was a hairdresser free. I was patient and thought I would be the next one. Suddenly there was a Korean customer popped up, who was seated by that free hairdresser immediately. I was shocking, and asked her that I booked for 4:30pm and I was waiting. Guess what? she told me another hairdresser would cut for me and she was not finished with another customer yet. I just left with anger without arguing. not sure if its called racism, but if you are not a Korean, think about it before you go.
Excellent!!!! I went to Groove Hair like 2months ago, I still thank the staff(sorry I didn’t ask her name) for getting my hair soooo beautiful!! I don’t even need any busy hair-do in the morning. She made it perfect!!! I doooo appreciate her!!! ♥️
