   couple of months ago I messed up my hair with DIY colour, a failed salon fix, and then box dye on top (every hairdresser’s worst nightmare). About a month ago I walked into Vivo feeling pretty defeated. Aura welcomed me, looked at the mess, and calmly reassured me that we’d get it right together, step by step, because bleached and box-dyed hair can only handle so much at once. She did an incredible job that first visit and gave me hope again. I came back today for the second session and I’m honestly blown away. Aura has completely transformed my hair into exactly what I wanted. She has gained a client for life. What makes Aura so special is how much she cares. She really studies your hair, listens to what you want, explains every step, and checks in constantly to make sure you’re comfortable and happy with the process. On top of being an outstanding hairdresser, she offered me a drink and even a little fudge on the side. Her kindness, professionalism, and genuine passion for her work shine through in everything she does, and the results are beautiful. Aura is not only a fantastic hairdresser but an absolutely lovely human being. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for taking such good care of me and my hair. I finally feel like myself again. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

   Zero stars My daughter had an absolutely awful haircut by a senior stylist on the day of her school ball. After following a complaints process I have received a refund, but Vivo have taken no responsibility merely saying “they are sorry we were not satisfied with the cut”.

   I had my hair done by Sylvia today and I absolutely love it! She worked within my budget and we had a good discussion of my expectations prior to starting. Sylvia was good at building rapport with me and she made me feel very comfortable. She provided me with a quote before starting and Sylvia talked me through each process. I have pre-booked with her for my next appointment in a few months so looking forward to it :) Thanks Sylvia!!

   Unfortunately I was very disappointed with my haircut. After waiting 18 months, after emigrating here, I finally plucked up the courage to try a new salon as my previous stylist was brilliant. I booked the new client and colour package online. The colour was fine and I'm happy with that. However after cutting my waist length hair to my shoulder as I wanted it was never tidied up. After washing the colour off my hair was blasted dry, not blow dried, without my hair being cut properly. It was then curled so I couldn't tell how bad it was until I got home. I have been going to the hairdresser's along time and know the process of having hair cut from long to short and this was definitely not done right. Once I straighten it I found extremely long hair and the cut was very sub standard. Obviously I was very upset and had to book in another salon for them to sort out it for me at my own cost. I never like leaving bad reviews but I wouldn't want someone else to go through what I had to. I thought that booking a place that has many salons that it merits a certain standard.

   Vivo staff members in Albany are all very warm and welcoming. I had Nadia who did a fantastic job on my hair. She listens very carefully and works efficiently to achieve what you’re after. Great work ethic and bubbly personality. Highly recommend her and this branch! :)
